When a baby is born the type of their wolf is shown through the color of their eyes. When the baby is born the first week they are controlled by their wolf where the only change appearance will be their eye color it’s either red for an alpha, gold for a beta and purple for an omega.
Rules in public:
- It isn’t allowed to emit strong pheromones in public.
- It isn’t allowed to shift in public and roam around freely.
- If someone gets their heat or ruts in public and they aren’t mated and alone then only betas are allowed to help them go to a safe place.
Wolf Shifting: They don’t fully shift into a wolf. The shifting is only a few appearance changes. Alphas shifting will make them have claws, longer and sharper canines with red eyes. Betas will have sharper canines and their eyes will turn gold. Alphas and betas physical appearance and body can be more defined and muscular. Shifting for omegas is different, their physical appearance won’t change and the only change they have is their eyes color where it would turn purple.
Alphas: 30% of the population. both genders can’t get pregnant but they are able to make any type of other wolves get pregnant because of their strong reproductive instinct and system. They have good physical qualities. Alphas are naturally dominant and possessive over their lovers. They experience a cyclic mating period called rut where their wolves take control. Can shift when they aren’t in rut and during rut.
Betas: 55% of the population. Stronger than omegas. they can associate with all types of wolves. females have the ability to get pregnant by alphas and male betas. Male betas are able to get omegas pregnant. they don’t have strong scent or pheromones and they can barely smell the pheromones of omegas and alphas. They don’t have a cyclic mating period. Can shift when they want.
Omegas: 15% of the population. both genders are able to get pregnant by betas or alphas and they don’t have the ability to make other wolves pregnant. they are naturally submissive and softer. They are fast due to their smaller body and physical appearance. They experience a cyclic mating period called heat. Can only shift during their heat.
Pheromones: a scent that alphas and omegas have to attract each other. They are unique to each individual. Normally it emanates in a small amount but it gets stronger during cyclic mating periods. Betas have weak pheromones.
Body Scent: it is an aura that shows if the person is an omega or an alpha. Usually an Alphas scent is overpowering and can make someone freeze from their dominance and confident. Alphas have a high positions In society and their aura helps them be in control.
Heat: the cyclic mating period that omegas experience. They experience strong sexual desire and their pheromones emits strongly that have a big effect on Alphas during heat period. A healthy omega will experience heat once every one or two months for five to seven days. Male omegas secrete a lubricative substance called slick.
Rut: the cyclic mating period that alphas experience. They experience strong sexual desire and their pheromones emits strongly that have a big effect on omegas during rut period. Rut is more intense than an omegas heat so it doesn’t regulate. During an alphas rut they get more intimidating to other omegas. Omegas usually can’t refuse an alphas orders during rut because it drains their energy.
Suppressants: medicines that are used to control and regulate the conditions of heat and ruts. Suppressants are more used by Alphas to have a better control of their ruts.
Knotting: it is an instinct that alphas have during their ruts. It swell their genitalia to block the reproductive organ of an omega or beta to increase the chances of pregnancy.
Marking: a mark that alphas put on their mates. An alphas rub their pheromones on a spot from which most pheromones are emitted. Marking can only happen when the alpha is shifted since the alphas canines get longer and sharper. It is normally a deep bite on the nape of the neck to leave their scent. Some see this as in ancient method in the modern society so some alphas refuse to do it.
Bonding/ imprinting: it is when two become mates. As the emotional connections of a bonded couple gets strong, they have great loyalty and strong attachment. A bond not impossible to break. Usually a bonded couple are seen as soulmates.
