The man with the black silky hair kissed the girl with red straight hair. They then both giggled happily as he picked her up and spun her around.
In the distance, sitting on a cloud was Carina holding her white wooden bow with engraved hearts all over it. She wore a light pink one-strapped dress with a golden heart shaped pendant clasped on the sleeve.
Carina sighed and looked above her to see more clouds.
“I’m so bored,” Carina said aloud to herself.
“You need some company?” A boy with Caramel skin behind Carina said, startling her.
“Don’t scare me like that, Ivan!” Carina hissed.
Ivan let out a laugh as he swung his head back letting all his shaggy black hair fall behind him. Carina stared at him. Ivan then looked up to face Carina.
“Geez. I’m sorry. Ok?” Ivan said, trying to ignore Carina’s death glare.
“Hmph,” Carina said, crossing her arms over her chest.
“Anyway, how was your day?” Ivan asked, flying over to the cloud Carina was sitting on. He slowly began to land slowly down his big black crow like wings.
Carina finally uncrossed her arms and looked at him.
“It was actually quite boring,” Carina admitted.
“Being a Cupid is boring! Try being an Anti-Cupid!” Ivan said, throwing his arms in the air. “It’s SSSSOOO depressing all the time!”
Ivan looked at Carina as she covered her mouth with one as she let out a small giggle.
“At least not everyone is scared of you,” Ivan said, sadly looking below the cloud at the tiny Barbie-like city below them.
“Not every-one, is afraid of you,” Carina said, nudging Ivan’s shoulder. “I’m not.”
“Well…,” Ivan began. “You're different.”
“How so?”
“You are my best friend. I’ve known you since we were little. Plus, you know me better than anyone,” Ivan confessed blushing a tiny bit.
“Aww! Ivan. Are you going soft?” Carina asked Ivan jokingly.
“NO I’M NOT!” Ivan said defensively. He then crossed his arms over his chest and turned his nose up in the air.
Carina laughed. Ivan began laughing too.
A bell rang above them and then they both stopped laughing.
“Well, I have school,” Carina said, getting up with her wings flapping, keeping her levitating above the cloud that they were sitting on.
“So do I,” Ivan admitted getting off the cloud too. “I’ll see you later!” Ivan said, waving ‘goodbye’ as he disappeared behind a bundle of clouds.
Carina then began flying to school.
