WARNING: Slight Blood/gore

"... Allura! Allura wake up, please! We have to go come on wake up!" 

"Ughhhh... My head feels like it got smashed in with a baseball bat..." I groaned.

"Oh thank god your okay! Quick get up we have to leave!" Cam said while frantically grabbing our stuff.

I blinked my eyes open and everything was fuzzy at first when my eyes finally focused I realized we were still in the alleyway but I was covered in blood and the guys from before were lying motionless on the hard concrete.

"What the hell happened!?!" I asked while trying to stand.

"I'll explain later but right now we need to leave," she said grabbing my arm.

"Yeah... good idea" I replied quietly.

I waited while Cam went inside and got the bathroom key and my bag so I could wash and change. In the bathroom, I got as much blood off my arms and face as I could and put on a pair of clean clothes. Once I finished I walked out and handed the key to Cam and she took it without a word, after we started walking to the trail that lead into Darland woods.

We walked for about an hour before we reached the Darland woods trail. we decided to stop for lunch before heading down the trail, I pulled a couple of tuna sandwiches out of our bag and we sat and ate quietly the trees looming over us ominously as we ate.

"This place is kinda scary isn't it?" Cam said gazing into the shadows beneath the trees.

"Yeah it kinda does but I doubt there's anything in there but plants and animals" I stated while yawning and stretching out my arms.

Cam spoke "Your probably right". 

"I love this forest people say that bad things always happen here but it's really beautiful especially in the fall. Once we get a little ways past Derrals Hill it'll change from birch to a deep pine forest it's super cool!" I stated happily.

" That does sound pretty interesting I didn't realize you liked the forest so much" spoke Cam.

"I do I like it a lot..." I voiced quietly.

 I gazed out over the forest the trees tall and spindly the only leaves, at the very top stopping the sun from shining through. Changing colors from the cold weather, falling to the ground carried along with by the breeze.

"Welp we better pack up and start walking if we're lucky we can make it to the top of Darrell Hill and set up a small camp," I said loudly grabbing my jacket and putting it on.

"Alright sounds like a plan!" Cam stated enthusiastically.

Once we had all our things we headed into the woods starting our long journey.
