Arriving at the house their dad kept for them Emma took the key from around her neck and entered the house with the other following behind her. Tod had flipped the light on as Emma looked around. The house looked the same as usual. She saw a little bit of dust around and the furniture was covered by white sheets. She sighed and set her bag down. 

“Alright you guys me, and Alexis are going to uncover the sheets and clean the furniture and also get the rooms ready. You boys cover the windows as much as you can and clean the kitchen and bathroom.  

Everybody had settled out on the task they were given. Emma headed upstairs to her parent’s room and looked around. She looked at all the family photos and grabbed the one of her and her parents holding baby Tod she grabbed shut the door and laid on the bed to cry her eyes out. She was filled with so much grief and pain from holding in all those tears trying to stay strong in front of others. She wiped her face and decided she was going to sleep in this room. She walked out and fixed her hair to look presentable heading downstairs. 

“Everything ready Emma?” asked her as she looked at him and smiled and dusted off the last piece of furniture. 

“Ok, we only have three rooms so Alexis gets mine and Tod and Tyler share a room unless Tyler you want the liver room which is also fine or share with your sister.” I said to them all, looking at anybody who would try to disagree with me. 

“So, you’re staying in their room?” Tod asks me as we headed upstairs with his bags. 

“As far as I know, yes but it’s not like we’re going to be staying here long. Their parents are probably looking for them like crazy, so we need to leave the state and move on quickly.” “So, rest up everybody and meet me downstairs when you’re ready. They all headed into the room for the night not ready for the day that is to come. 

With everybody asleep Emma had nothing to do but think which she refused to do but now can’t avoid it. She thought about her father then her mother who she thought abandoned her and never loved her but, to surprisingly had money saved up for them to leave but instead protected them till the end to leave. She didn’t know where her mother was going to be buried but her father had planned the funeral for her so whatever happens, she hopes it's nice. Emma sighs and gets a notebook and pen out to start planning. 

They could only stay here one night due to her assumption people will start looking for Alexis and her brother and the police wanting to investigate the murder of her mother and also knowing this is private land owned by her dads side of the family and any entry will be notified.. They had to buy food and new clothes to hide their identity but that will have to wait when they leave town which will be by foot and taxi to avoid attention they will head out to the organization they have for teen she heard of from her father. She took out her clothes and looked in the closet for her mothers and took some of hers and took dad's jacket out for her brother and some souvenirs not knowing when they would be back. She walked out of the room and knocked on the doors. 

“Get up everybody, it's time to move.” She yelled out heading down the stairs. She handed Tod dad's jacket and they left through the back door. 

“We need to head out and lay low there until we get something useful.” She told them as they were leaving the house. 

“That’s cool with me as long as we get something to eat.” says Tyler putting a jacket over Alexis shoulder.  

“Due to recent occurrences it’s the farthest and close to the were we need to go” they started walking in comfortable silence and catched a few taxi cabs along the way. As they were walking there were some windows with tv’s in them showing the news they paused and looked at. 

“We are here to report the death of Dana Cold. The police are under investigation thinking it has something to do with their missing kids Tod and Emma Cold. We are also here to report the missing Woods children Tyler and Alexis Woods. If anyone sees them please contact authorities or the parents.”  The news lady continued talking as we slowly backed away from the tv when some people started looking at us and the photo on the screen, we made a dash for it into a supermarket. 

“Anybody has cash on them?” asked Alexis, taking out only a twenty and looking around the store. We pulled out some cash and Tod only a ten due to us not trusting them just yet. We went in search of food for the journey to hold us until we got to the twins.

Tod 

Emma was in pain. He could evidently see that they all heard her crying upstairs but he told them not to bring it up. She hates looking weak. He told her many times it's ok to cry sometimes but she refused.  

“Where are we going exactly?” asked Alexis, eating a bag of chips with her yaoi shades on. 

Looking at me curiously. I knew we were going to that organization for rich kids who were running away from their family. 

“Somewhere safe, come on let’s catch up.” I grabbed her arm and ran toward them. 

“Where are you coming from?” She walked under the bridge and tapped on the wall there was a noise and a door opened they stepped in and descended in the elevator. 

“Maybe we should go back, this looks freaky” whispered Tyler looking nervous slowly grabbing Alexis' hand. 

“No, it’s too late now, just chill it might work out for you.” Emma said, looking at him for reassurance. 

“You guys shouldn’t be nervous, they have a freaking elevator under a bridge!” Alexis said with a wide smile and spinned. The elevator had opened, and they followed Emma down the hall to an orientation room. 

“You gotta be kidding me.” Tyler mumbled in annoyance and Alexis had nudged him. 

“This looks like a whole cult already.” He whispered as they walked in, they saw a lot of people staring at them. Tod was about to sit down but Emma shook her head. She kept walking ignoring everybody there were some little kids there too, some of them looked scared which made Emma a little worried. They walked through another door and then sat two people who looked exactly alike and a girl eating a bag of chips. 

“Omg Emma you made it.” The male twin said, and hugged Emma Tyler had thrown daggers at him. 

“Yeah, miss you though” She smiled at him. Everybody thought the twins were dead, but they ran away. Jayden kept tabs with me since we were dating, then we decided to help others and start the organization. 

“Ok, give your girlfriend a room to breathe, we have work to do.” June said to him, smiling at us. He let go of me and put his arm on my shoulder. 

“Hey Tod, how you been doing” Jay said to him not even turning around or saying anything to Alexis and Tyler. 

“Sorry about my rude brother in June, he's Jayden and you are?” She said to them. 

“Im Tyler and this is my sister Alex.” Tyler said looking at her. She nodded then they all sat down at the table. 

“Ok so There has been a recent kidnapping happening here. Somebody is kidnapping kids and brain washing them, so it became impossible to get them back because we would also have to retrieve their memories.” Jayden had said to everybody in the room. 

“Maybe we can just let them be and instead get files on the project and cover it up like we were trying to get more kids” Emma spoke looking at some papers. Alexis leaned into me and whispered. 

“Did you know about this place?” she asked me to look intrigued in the conversation. 

“Yeah she told me after they went missing. It was kind of confusing, but you will fit in” I told her to reassure her. 

“Wait, why did this place start anyway?” she asked a little bit too loud. She turned when it got quiet and everybody was staring at us. 

“Good question but mine is better.” Jay turned and looked at Emma looking a bit mad. 

“What were your situations at home?” he said to Tyler and Alexis. 

“Stop it or I will leave.” Emma said to him pleading and looking scared. 

“No, you know there’s no excuse they probably left because daddy won’t get them a car.” Max sneered at them. Nanny had stood up and left the room abruptly. 

“Now look at what you did.” June said and ran after her. 

“Tell us or you leave, and I will chain you up Emma you’re not going anywhere I just got you back.” 

“I originally wasn’t supposed to come but I begged my brother because I was supposed to be shipped off to get married and my brother was going to be dead from all his wounds by the end of the month due to the abuse happening to him so he planned to leave.” Alexis said to them looking angry for being called out. 

“They check out but i'm still watching you guys” Max said and left out of the room after giving Emma a hug and rubbing Tod hair. 

“I guess you all check out. Welcome, you start your training soon so just head out into the orientation.” Jay said not looking at them just Emma. Emma had handed Tod the map of the place as they left, and she stayed behind.
