English is the one subject I excel at. I enjoy writing, I once won an award for writing. I’ve thought about using it as a career but I don’t know. Is that something I can make money off of? This class is boring. What else am I supposed to think about? I’m 17 and a senior in highschool. Shouldn’t I know all this by now? Maybe I could ask K, does she know what she wants to do in life? The bell rang for second lunch, meaning it was my time to get out of here.

 I started walking to my locker to meet with K. I became annoyed after failing to open my locker. “You seriously still can’t open your locker?”, K says from behind me. “You know I can, This locker just hates me.”, I say, rolling my eyes. “Sure you can.”, She says, opening hers without any issue. I get it open, throwing my stuff in and grabbing my lunch box. K and I walked towards the cafeteria. We walk to our table and sit down beginning a conversation about our classes thus far.

 I tell her about the boring day I’ve had and she responds on her very interesting day. “I watched a freshman girl beat the shit out of this bitch.”, K says amused. I snort and continue eating while listening. “The freshman grabbed her hair and started dragging her on the floor, Man it was great.”, K says laughing. “I bet it was, at least you had a good day.”, I said looking around. Wait, who is that? He’s a handsome fella. He’s tall, well built. Wonder if he does any sports? Have I seen him before? Work maybe?  “Hello? Theo? Are you there?”,K says, waving her hand in front of my face. I refocus back on K. “What’d you say?” I said, puzzled. “I said, what are you looking at?” K suddenly met my gaze at what or rather whom i was looking at. She turned back to face me with a grin I've never seen so big. “Oh no, no, no. It’s not what you think. I thought I recognized him from somewhere. Nothing more.”, I said quicking trying to reject any idea she had. She just smiled wider. The bell rang meaning lunch was over. Thank god! The bell really saved me. “You’re telling me later”, K yelled as she began walking away.
