Hello, I'm GameMaker8YT. The author of this light novel series. This is my first light novel and I apologize in advance for my inexperience. I hope you enjoy.

Vol. 1 Ch 5: The beginning of the best squad the world ever had

As Wade, Amber, Leon, Brandon, and Ash arrive at the main buildings, they bump into one of the Lieutenants. “Hey watch out, where you’re going, shitheads” the Lieutenant says.

“Sorry, Lieutenant” Wade says, as the Lieutenant starts walking away he feels like he has met them somewhere before.

“Wait a minute, you must be the newly formed squad, right? Umm, what was it again?” the Lieutenant says, “Squad Petra, Lieutenant” Wade says. “Hey drop the formals, I don’t dig that kind of thing, call me Caprio” Caprio says, “right, Lieutenant” Wade says, “Hey I said call me Caprio, or do you not have any ears dickwad” Caprio says, “sorry” Wade says, “uh-huh, and what comes next” Caprio says, “Caprio” Wade says, “Good, oh-ho-oh, who do we have here? Where did you guys find a girl like this?” Caprio says.

“Is she a prostitute or something, I can buy her off ya?” Caprio says, “Hey! I’m Amber, I’m a part of Squad Petra” Amber says, “Oh sorry, just don’t see many women in squads” Caprio says, Amber gives an angry expression.

“Well anyway, what’re you doin’ here huh?” Caprio says, “We are here to report to the General” Wade says, “That seems kinda sus, you guys don’t even know the name of your General, are you guys a fake?” Caprio says. “Oh- no, we know the name.. of our... General” Wade says stuttering.

“Oh really now, then tell me what’s the name of that fat bitch -huh” Caprio says, “Umm, umm…I don’t know…Caprio” Wade says, “Haha, I’m just messing with you, rookies, still though you should know the name of your General, It’s Xero Waters” Caprio says, “Right, Caprio” Wade says, everyone salutes to Caprio.

“Now, now, I told you to not be so formal” Caprio says, Caprio takes a cigarette out of his pocket and puts it in his mouth.

“Hey, any of you got a lighter” Caprio says, “No, we don’t, sorry” Wade says, “Wait I think I have a have a lighter here somewhere, *starts to do a pat down*, shit…shit, ah-here I do have a lighter, any of ya want’a smoke?” Caprio says. “No thank you” everyone says, “Well, you coming or not?” Caprio says.

Everyone starts to follow Caprio, “Hey, we gotta go to the MReceiver first” Caprio says, “What’s a MReceiver?” Brandon says, “Oh, after you finish a mission, you gotta go to a MReceiver to report it, you’ll status will be updated you know all the shit, taxes and stuff” Caprio says.

“Well, how you like it, the headquarters I mean” Caprio says, “It’s huge, so many people here, all the lieutenants you only read about in the papers are all here, in the flesh!” Wade says “ah, so you’re a fanboy, heh” Caprio says.

Everyone starts to look around them, stations around everywhere, military heroes walking around, the modern and vibrant atmosphere covering the whole building.

“You guys, ever been here?” Caprio says, “No” Everyone but Ash says, “I have been here before” Ash says, “So you, kid you’ve been here before huh, what’s your name?” Caprio says, “Ash…just Ash” Ash says, “Oh so you’re him, #016, the second youngest soldier to ever get accepted into an official squad, how old were you, again?” Caprio says, “12” Ash says, ”Man it’s already been 4 years, I remember you, the whole military knows you, the kid who will never catch up to his sister” Caprio says.

Ash clenches his fist tightly, Caprio is getting under Ash’s skin.

“Sorry, about your squad by the way, they were great people, you know Rin took a real liking to you, she used to talk about you all the time heh, those were the days” Caprio says. “You knew her?” Ash says, “Yep, me, Rin, and Kurohe, were best friends, we grew up together, but she’s gone now, you have to get over some things, you know… you know” Caprio says.

“Hey, we’re here it’s the MReceiver office, you're about to meet Kurohe” Caprio says, “This gon’ be one fucking mess” Caprio mumbles to himself. Caprio opens the door slowly. *Snort*, *Snort*, *Snort*, “*Cough* *Cough*, wow that shit was fire, dang I defo buying from him again, shit I need more cocaine” Kurohe says “Hey Elana, can you check if there’s any more coke in my backpack” Kurohe says, “*yawn* fine” Elana says.

There sits a man in pain, and a girl in lingerie, Caprio puts his finger on his lips, implying that everyone stays quiet. “Shit girl, you look goooood in that, phew, why don’t you put on some oil next time, heh-heh-heh” Kurohe says, “Shut up” Elana says.

Elana opens the backpack and starts to search opening every pocket, bag inside, “Hey, Kurohe you got nothing, here, all I see is lube, condoms, and a bottle, of wine, why’d you buy cherry flavored condoms, they’re the worst kind” Elana says.

Elana picks up the bottle of wine and pops it open, “Well, you know me, I like to make each time special, heheh” Kurohe says, Elana drops the bottle while drinking it, “fuck my stomach feels like shit” Elana says, *Blaargh* vomit starting flowing out of her mouth, “Oh shit, that hurt like a bitch, wait a sec” Elana says, *Blaargh*Elana stands up as two piles vomit stood beneath her.

“Hey, Kurohe it looks like we have visito-” *Blaargh* “rs” Elana says. “Visitors? who the fuck would want to visit us? Oh yeah, I forgot we were the MReceiver, come on i…n” Kurohe says while collapsing.

“Shit, looks like he still hasn’t moved on, from his drug addiction” Caprio says, Wade looks around, whilst avoiding stepping on all the underwear and used condoms on the floor, “shit, what did I step on” Wade says, everyone looks at Wade with a serious look.

“Guys, what did I step on?” Wade says frightened about what is about to come, Amber has a shocked look on her face, while her hands are covering her mouth, “Umm Wade why don’t you look at your feet” Leon says, “I don’t want to, I don’t wanna, I don’t want to” Wade says trembling.

Wade slowly looks down at his feet “what the fuck, why the… why the hell is a pile of shit doing in the middle of the fucking floor! Oh no, Oh no!!!” Wade says, everyone but Ash starts to laugh, “This isn’t funny” Wade says. “Come on! gimme your shoes, I’ll put them in the washer” Caprio says, “You brats everyone else but Ash, clean this shithole up, and try to keep those two in check will ya” Caprio says, Amber, Wade, Leon, and Brandon start to panic.

“Ash, you come with me” Caprio says. “Jesus, how the fuck are we supposed to clean this up?” Leon says, Leon starts to search around, the room. “fuck even Xanax and morphine, these two must be dead in the head right now” Leon says. Amber sets Kurohe and Elana down on the couch while they clean up. “Where do they even get this shit? Huh, these two must be loaded” Brandon says.

“Hey Ash, follow me” Caprio says, “Okay” Ash says, “So, how have you been Ash? You know since you were transferred” Caprio says, “It’s fine, but I’d really rather work alone” Ash says, “Yeah I know but, working alone is never good, you might think being alone is great but over time you break and deteriorate bit by bit, until the only thing you know what to do is to follow orders” Caprio says, “I won’t turn out that way” Ash says, “That’s what everyone says” Caprio says.

Caprio and Ash arrive at the laundry room, Caprio opens the door. “Hey, Caprio one of the maids said that the washer doesn’t work what should I do?” Riot says, “Slap her- heh” Caprio says.

“OK, got it” Riot says, Riot slaps the maid in the face, the maid starts to cry while shaking “I’m sorry, I… I don’t know how to fix it” the Maid says, she runs away afterwards. “shit, fucking twat, ahhhh guess I’ll fix it” Caprio says, 10 minutes later.

“There its done” Caprio says, Caprio proceeds to put the shoes in the washer, “ahh, now all we have to do is wait” Caprio says, Riot stands up and sits on top of the washer, “Hey Caprio, who’s the brat you have wit’ ya’” Riot says.

“Oh him, he’s Ash, you know the kid who transferred” Caprio says, “Oh, so you’re him, I heard you’re pretty strong huh, You know Rin?” Riot says, “Yeah” Ash mumbles, “Ah heh, I’m surprised this job hasn’t broke you yet” Riot says, “I’m still the same” Ash says.

“You know those two in the other room we went to, they’ve been like that ever since Rin died, and for them there’s no coming back from that. It’s been…I think a year since you transferred, and they are still doin’ drugs, and alcohol” Caprio says, “Hope they get better someday” Riot says.

“How come you didn’t turn out that way?” Ash says, “You know there are some people who show how they feel and there are those who put on a fake smile everyday” Caprio says, "ok" Ash says.

“Oh yeah, hey Caprio” Riot says, “Yeah, what’s up?” Caprio says, “We got a new mission, there was a series of bombings, happening around, the Hegragoth Region” Riot says, “Shit, looks like we got work to do, when do we have to deploy” Caprio says, “heh-heh-heh, about that, we start tomorrow” Riot says.

“Why the fuck didn’t you tell me this sooner? How the hell are we supposed to prepare? Kurohe and Elana aren’t even over their hangover, they’re going to die out there in the condition they’re in” Caprio yells.

“I think we’ll be fine” Riot says, “So now that we’re fucked, you wanna come Ash?” Caprio says. Amber and Brandon open the door of the laundry room, “Hey, we finished cleaning up” Amber says, “Hey, what’s going on?” Brandon asks, Wade walks through the door completely exhausted, with vomit on his shirt, “Hey guys, Kurohe and Elana finally woke up again” Wade says, “You guys have a new mission-heh, you start tomorrow” Caprio says, “wait what?” Amber, Brandon, Leon, and Wade say simultaneously.

“Hey, Wade, I think you got vomit on your shirt” Caprio says, “Oh shit”.
