In front of the old, dusty library that Mister Han was working on, the three of them were stopped by the owner. Mister Han, who some weeks ago, made an unwanted entrance into Yeong-hwan's house, now had a better reason to interrupt them. Yeong-hwan was still angry at him for the prior event, but he decided to give him a chance and listen to what he wanted to say.
‘What news do you have? Another rumor that makes you barge into my house uninvited?’ asked, jokingly, Yeong-hwan
Hyun-woo raised one of his eyebrows and stared at the owner of the library. Yu Na took a better look at the man, he radiated pure happiness and she couldn’t quite get why he had such an energy after all that happened those days.
‘Yeong-hwan, the other day, two great looking men came into my library and requested to see your work! They said your name really spread into their city and that they came all the way here! And if that wasn’t enough, after they brought it, some girls came after and asked to buy what they bought, and now all your books are sold out! Can you imagine?’ as he said that, the boys couldn’t hold their emotions bottled down
Yeong-hwan smiled so brightly, as he couldn’t believe that, after all this time, he was gaining the recognition he deserved. Hyun-woo, who was the type of person that doubted many things, so he came with a question.
‘I’ve traveled in some cities, can you tell me where those travelers came from? Did they tell you? I’m wondering about their opinion on his work, taking in consideration that they traveled all the way here.’
His question really seemed to put mister Han on thought, but Yeong-hwan brushed it off, by coming forward and taking the lead in the conversation.
‘It really doesn’t matter as long as they were so moved by my work that they came all the way here! For me, it’s so great that my work got recognition.’
‘Yeah, yeah! I was going to give you the money from the sales!’ he said as he got a small bag of money. ‘I was about to ask you if you can provide some more copies of the books that you gave me. Some more people came after and asked for books, but I didn’t have any more.’ and to this, Yeong-hwan agreed and proceeded to tell him that he will work to provide some more books.
Like that, they left the library. Yeong-hwan was so happy, he had a genuine smile on his face, as if the world had given him a second chance. Hyun-woo patted his friend on the back, he looked with genuine happiness as he saw how happy his friend was when he knew that everything he worked on wasn’t in vain.
‘I’m truly a blessed man! To have by my side to great friends, with whom I can enjoy both happy and sad moments! It really looks like my future is shining so bright!’ made the confession Yeong-hwan, as the two friends of his looked in admiration to him. Hyun-woo proceeded to joke with him
‘If we are truly your good friends, then maybe you’ll buy us a drink to celebrate the books you sold! What do you think?’ and to his joke, Yeong-hwan told that he wanted to do that even if he hadn’t asked for
The three of them looked happy as they walked home.
