"We need to talk" I affirm to Oliver

Oliver and Mason were speaking while going out of their classroom when I interrupted them. 

"Ok, I'll get going. See tomorrow guys" Mason quickly excused himself.

"Hey, where are you going?!" I said when I saw Oliver starting to go away 

"Don't you want to speak to me? I am hungry so come with me to the park"

"Hell no, I am not your friend"

"Then, no speaking" he sticks his tongue out while smiling

He was annoying me, I groan before agreeing "Ok but buy your thing quick"

"No worry cutie"

"Don't start with me"

"You should have bought ice cream, they are really good. It's a shame"

"No thanks" I indeed knew the ice creams here were good here but I didn't want him to believe we were friends. And I don't chill with ice creams on a bench's park with people I am not friends with.

I was sitting next to him watching him eat when he arches his brow "So what did you want to speak about?"

"Uh...Yes!" I didn't forget what I was here for but his tantrums made it get it out of my head "You are a Jerk! You made Isabella cry!"

"She is the one who broke up with me you dimmit!"

"Doesn't matter it's still your fault!"

"How's that my fault?!"

"You weren't caring enough towards her"

"Are you serious? So it's all my fault when she's the one who insisted on going out together, then expected me to be her prince charming and broke up with me when she realises I wasn't?!"

What he was saying made sense but I wasn't going to tell him that "Doesn't matter. Now leave her alone"

He laughs mockingly "No problem with that"

"Great" I got up to leave him here, my mission was accomplished. At my move, he gently took my wrist

"Wait Sean, is it all you're here for?"

"Yes" I was here for my mission, I wasn't here for my own enjoyment and didn't want to spend time with him more than necessary. 

At least that's what I am convincing myself

He then got up, still with my wrist in hand, he then slides his hand until he was holding my hand

He approaches slowly his face from mine and I didn't move. I mean I think he was going to kiss me? his lips were approaching mine but at the last moment he finally kissed my cheek

The next five seconds were awkward, he was flustered and even if I absolutely didn't want to admit it I was too.

"Humm..see you..tomorrow?" Oliver says, he seems ready to bolt away at any moment

But I wasn't going to miss my chance with the boy of my- with him- so I took his arms to push him towards myself and kissed him

And I promise myself it was only going to be that, one single kiss.
