Chapter 3- Energy

I went about my day, even after seeing such a horrific sight. Many people ignored the dead body lying in the middle of the hallway and the cleanup crew all labeled : Star #3 helper- Cleaning Crew came  to pick at its wielding items. It turns out that Arachnar was pretty popular, and since she spent half of the classes, we shared sitting next to me. I became unnaturally popular as well. How great.

"Hey, Nana!" 

I heard Arachnar say as we were packing up to our next class.

"Hmm?"

I replied, absorbed in arranging my books in my backpack.

"Let's walk to the gym together. And bring Blossom. And that boy with you as well."

"Huh? I understand bringing Blossom. But why Takahashi?"

I asked skeptically, eyeing her. Her gaze did not falter but looked genuine, so I gave up. 

"Fine, come on." 

I sighed, pulling out my phone and calling Takahashi and Blossom. 

"Hey guys, come to the gym in 5 minutes. No questions asked. Bye." 

Arachnar and I raced around the considerably large school building until we got to the gym. Takahashi and Blossom were already there. They looked Arachnar up and down, then stared at me. 

"So? Why were we summoned here?" 

Takahashi asked, a grin forming on his face. I gestured to Arachnar, and they all locked their eyes on her. Takahashi broke into an even more enormous grin. 

"You know we have quite a big project coming soon. Correct?" 

Arachnar started, gazing between Blossom and Takahashi. 

"I was simply wondering if you would like to do it with Diana and me." 

She continued. 

My blood ran cold. Working with a partner was one thing, but the type of project we were doing was guaranteed to hurt all of us. No one ever brought up the topic of being anything other than human.

 I knew that there was no way Hashi and Blossom could ever be human with the excessive amount of strength and stamina they both have. Even for our world, it was way too much. I wanted to know more about everyone close to me. I may be contradicting myself by saying that Arachnar is close, but I was still curious. 

"Kids, follow me." 

I said as I jogged to the nearest bench. I looked up at the vast projected clock on the wall. We still had about 5 minutes until the next class started. 

"What's up, Nana?" Takahashi asked, looking concerned. 

Arachnar and Blossom just stared at each other, then at me. 

"Well I've had my suspicions and i- i don't believe you guys are exactly normal. I mean look what you did to that boy" 

I said tentatively. I looked up at the three people standing in front of me.

"Of course, we aren't silly." 

Blossom said. Her entity was pink. Takahashi did the same thing.His wasn't as powerful as Blossom though . I was too stunned to speak. I really thought he would be more powerful than Blossom's. 

Arachnar stared at them, not surprised. When I looked at her more, I finally saw it. She turned to me without saying a word. She then tapped my heart. I was pretty confused.

Aranchar mused. 

Takashi looked excited. I looked back at the clock. We had two more minutes left. 

"Come on, kids, let's go." 

I said, running into the gym.
