Inside my eyelids, everything is black. I'm scared to open my eyes because it might be black outside my eyelids too. Are you? On second thought, I really don't care. But I'm so tired. I should lay here for a few minutes. When did you fall asleep? Am I muttering? What? No, stop that. I don't need to--
Someone just touched you.
My eyes fly open, darting around to try and catch the thing that touched me. Their darting slows once they register what they're seeing. All around me is black. Dark inky blackness. A black so pure, there isn't a hint of blue or green in it. In front of me kneels another girl. She's sideways. Or no, I'm sideways. The girl is wearing a purple dress-looking thing, which paired nicely with her startled expression. Purple is the color of surprise. The girl looks around the same age as me, though she's breathtakingly beautiful, in a cute way. Her round glasses accentuate her tiny sharp nose and magnify her already-large grayish purple eyes. Her perfect round cupid's bow is curled into a small O, with some tufts of very blonde hair sticking to it. Fascinating. She's... perfect.
