“She’s gone!? Great! Now it will be harder to find my prize!” Drasandra yelled.  “I’ll destroy you!”  

"Now, this race will be interesting." Guyjin snapped.

       Guyjin stepped out to confront them. The two squared off as Ran was uncertain what to do. Finally, the Maxim sisters caught up to their position as the rest of Ran's party fell back.

"Stop running and face me, Ruka!"

     Windy punched Ruka back to Ran’s side. Miyu and Yoko get thrown to Ran as they failed to gain the upper hand against the sisters.

"Now that you're all here. We can destroy you in one strike." Drasandra snickered. "And there's nothing left you can do, Ran!"

      The Maxim sisters begin focusing their power with Drasandra in the circle. She channeled more energy from her gem while Ran's party lies helpless.

“It can’t end this way. Not now! I still have things to do.” Ran yelled.

      The heart charm suddenly begins glowing in her hands.

“What’s happening?”

      The charm engulfs Ran in a ray of light as she begins transforming. Finally, Ran emerges in a completely new outfit as she twirled a heart-shaped baton.  

“Her!? A magical girl!” Starly gasped.

      Starly scowled with jealousy as Ran stood confused at the sight of her transformation.

“My love for Magvy is strong! My beauty is unmatched! I won’t let you deny my happiness.” Drasandra barked back.

      She didn't hesitate to unleash her Dragon Buster as Ran defends the team with her baton. Two forces of power collide, causing Guyjin to fall back.  

“This is getting intense. Mad Bomber! I’ll leave the rest to you.” Guyjin said.

     Drasandra’s attack bounced off the baton. Ran stumbles to the ground blowing her hands.  

“Yow! Hot! Hot! Hot!”

      Ran was now unarmed leaving her team defenseless.

“So much for your new power!” Drasandra snickered. “Girls! Go ahead and destroy them.”

“With pleasure!” Windy snapped.

      Windy continued to lay the beat down on Ruka. Miyu and the rest were at their breaking point. Drasandra’s gem begins violently blinking.

"Oh, crap….Magvy is close. Girls! Fall back!"

"Wait, what!?" Windy shouted.

     Drasandra forces the girls back into her circle as they teleport away. Finally, Alice's party caught up to the scene.  

“Is everyone ok?” Kate asked.

      A barrage of explosives then dropped down, forcing everyone to take cover. Then, Mad Bomber swoops past them in the sky, continuing the Guyjin mob's reign of terror.

"Fifteen and sixteen! Just one more sky tower to blow. Nya hahaha!!!"

       A wave of ice bullets hit Mad Bomber, forcing him to the ground. Renku and Akane’s squad arrives on the scene.

“Who the hell is this guy?” Ran asked.

“He’s one of Guyjin’s goons. We’ve been tailing him the whole time, but he’s been pretty darn persistent.” Akane said. “Kaida and the rest of our department already destabilized the last of the threats in this city. He’s all that’s left.”

“That’s good to know.”

      Mad Bomber proceeds to piece his body back together.

“I am Mad Bomber! Third cousin to the glorious Mustache Meister! My explosive mustache is unmatched!! You cannot defeat me!! I am invincible!!!”

      The monster proceeds to fire a wave of explosives as Renku went on the offense. His attacks nullify the oncoming explosives. Mad Bomber begins to create clones in the air.

“The clock is ticking! Will you be able to find my real body before it blows?”

“Don’t matter!” Renku snapped.

       He twirls his large blade unleashing a cold storm. The copies dissipate, causing the monster to break apart. Mad Bomber then instantly directs a part of his body at another victim.

"Ran, watch out!" Akane screamed.

     At that moment, Ran heard Ami’s voice in her head.  

"Use your new power…." Ami whispered.

“I won’t run! Not anymore!”  

      Without fear, Ran retrieves her baton. She swings back the oncoming explosive, stunning Mad Bomber in place.

“Blasphemy!”

“Freezing Corona!!!”

       Renku left Mad Bomber frozen to his neck. Ran then aims her baton, firing a ripple of hearts in the air. Her attack pierces Mad Bomber just as he gave his last words.

“GLORY TO GUYJIN!!!”

     Mad Bomber was vanquished, leaving Ran completely exhausted. Then, back with Guyjin, a glass sphere shatters in the middle of his board.

“Mad Bomber! We thank you for your service.”

    Back with Drasandra and the girls…

“Why did you call us back? We had them on the ropes.” Windy shouted.

"Now, girls, today was more than just a close call. I realized I can't afford to risk us all on the battlefield."

“What do you mean?”

     Windy punched through a computer monitor to release her frustration. Drasandra looks over her dragon gem.

“You see. The more we fight, the weaker Magvamax becomes. So the more power we drain, the closer he’ll be aware of my plans. And if he finds out, he’ll have us killed before I can marry him.” She reminded.

“Then what do you propose we do?” Spunky asked.

“To play it safe, I’ll only send one of you girl’s at a time from this point. Whoever this Guyjin gang is, we’ll make them pay dearly next time.”

     Windy steps into the fray.

“I’ll go first then. Ruka will meet her dear end the next time we cross.”

“Hey, I want first dibs!” Spunky jumped.

     Spunky attempts to step up but gets headlock under Windy's arm. The sisters begin quarreling with one another as Drasandra leaves, looking pleased with the two.

“You’ll each get your chance, so don’t kill yourselves.” She giggled.

     Returning back on the shores, Ran’s party reflects back at the distant horizon during the aftermath of the battle.

"The fights from here will only get tougher at this point. No matter who comes at us, we'll have to be ready. We must persevere!" Ran concluded.

“Windy…”

     Ruka last stares off at the setting sun, thinking about her.
