Foreword:

Hello, I'm GameMaker8YT. The author of this light novel series. This is my first light novel and I apologize in advance for my inexperience. I hope you enjoy.

Only the best squads get to partake in A and S grade mission. As of now Squad Petra has only done D Graded missions.

January 22^nd, 381 AU. 

“Shit no one’s here yet” Caprio says, while standing at the Agami Stables. “Hey, sorry we’re late, it’s just you never specified a time” Amber says, while running with the rest of the members. 

“Even so, you were late, you losers” Caprio says. “Anyways, you all have a horse, right?” Caprio says, “mmm, yeah I think I do, Just I haven’t ridden with him in a long time” Kurohe says, “Get on your horses” Caprio says, “Yeah, yeah” Leon says. Everyone walks towards their horses, “Jesus hell, my horse has a dick the size of a person, hahahah, what the hell” Leon says, “really… really…that’s what you’re thinking about…really?” Amber says, “Well, I mean it’s right out there” Leon says, Amber tries to get on her horse but failed multiple times, eventually a bucket full of water on a shelf fell on Amber’s head, “help, help, I can’t see, can somebody take this bucket off my head?” Amber yells. 

“Ash steps away from his horse and walks towards Amber, Ash grabs the bucket and takes it off her. 

“You alright?” Ash says, Amber’s eyes twinkle seeing Ash right in front of her. “Yeah, yeah I’m fine, thank you” Amber says quietly, “Ok.” Ash says, Amber now having water splashed all over her, Ash hands her a towel, “Your clothes are really wet, so dry yourself off” Ash says, “Oh thanks, hey why are you turning your head away” Amber says, Amber looks down, realizing her clothes are now see through, Amber’s head turns red as a tomato. 

“Well, I’m gonna head back” Ash says, “Wait!” Amber says, “hmm” Ash says, “Can you help me get on the horse?” Amber says, “Ok.” Ash says, Ash picks up Amber by her waist, “Ah, I can’t believe Ash is holding me” Amber thinks to herself. “Do you know how to ride a horse.” Ash says, “Yeah, I know how to” Amber says, “Everyone group up in your squads Squad Kaizen come over here, Wade lead your Squad” Caprio says, “Right?” Wade says, “Everyone ready? Follow me” Caprio says, everyone’s horses start to move towards the Hegragoth region. 

“Wow, it’s my first time riding a horse” Brandon says, “Yeah I feel like a badass right now- heh” Leon says, “There have been 2 suspects, that are most likely the terrorists causing all of this, I sent you the photos to your Prism” Caprio says, “Make sure to look closely you won’t have any time to waste to look at the photos again” Elana says. 5 hours later. 

“Ahh, my crotch is killing me, my balls are probably squashed by now, how the hell am I supposed to walk after this huh?” Brandon says, “Stop complaining and pay attention, Brandon” Wade says, “Caprio, up ahead lots of smoke coming out of a building inside” Riot says, “Shit it’s harder to see since this city is covered by walls” Caprio says, “Everyone stay in position Squad Petra behind Kurohe” Caprio yells, “We’re going to be running through the entrance” Caprio says. 

Everyone runs through the entrance, “Everyone commence Aerial Stance” Caprio yells. Everyone crouches on their horses, with their weapons in their hands, “Jump!” Caprio yells, everyone jumps from their horse to the entrance of the building. 

“Riot you go inside the building check all the rooms in the right, Elana, you and Kurohe check the perimeter of the building, Squad Petra, you guys check all the rooms in left, I’ll check the rooms in the middle, you all have execution authority” Caprio yells. 

Riot starts to run with his scythe in his hand, “Shit, why did they have to bomb a fucking apartment building? There’s people in here” Riot says, “Smoke coming out of this room here, does the handle work?” Riot says, Riot tries to open the door with the handle, “Looks like I’m gonna have to kick it down” Riot says, Riot kicks the door down with all the strength he has. Riot enters the room, “shit, I need to put my gas mask on, I hope the rookies also remember to use a freaking gas mask” Riot thinks to himself. Riot looks around the room, “looks like there was a C4 planted under this desk they couldn’t have been alerted about the explosion” Riot says, “Can’t see squat, I think I stepped on something” Riot says. 

Riot looks, crouches and sees a corpse, “This guy, got hurt really bad, you can’t even tell it was a person” Riot says, the guy’s arm was severed with his hand squashed, the eyes, with the nerves still attached to them all lied out on the floor, a cavity in the torso. 

“This… this is insane… who… who can take a life of an innocent person so easily?” Riot says, Riot looks closer at the floor, and finds a ring, “this man was married, he must’ve had a family, those bastards” Riot says, with tears forming in his eyes, “Wait! What if he had a child? There must be a room around here somewhere?” Riot says.

 Riot quickly looks around the apartment, “It’s hard to find anything in here when there’s so much smoke, ah, there a room” Riot says, Riot kicks down the door, Riot finds a girl lying down on the floor, “better get her out of here quick” Riot says. 

Riot puts a spare gas mask on the girl’s head, he then carries her out of the room, Riot finds a safe spot and lies the girl down, “hey, hey, wake up, wake up!” Riot yells at the girl, “shit she’s not waking up I’m going to have to do some CPR on her, oh- I never wanted to do this” Riot thinks to himself, as Riot is pressing the girl’s chest; 

she suddenly wakes up, the girl gasping for air while coughing. “Woah, woah, you alright? Hey girl, are you okay?” Riot says, the girl starts panicking and hyperventilating. 

“Where am I? Where AM I!” the girl yells, “relax, there was a fire in your apartment” Riot says, “Where’s my dad… where my DAD?” the girl screams, “He’s doing just fine, he’s outside” Riot says, while putting on a fake smile, “Shit, I don’t have enough time to check the rest of the rooms, but there’s no smoke comin’ out of any of them” Riot says, “come on follow me” Riot says. 

Riot holds the girl’s hand as he runs outside. Squad Petra Right hallway. “We can’t mess up guys, this is our first mission” Wade says, “Yeah, alright” Leon says, “Ash, you and Amber go check the two rooms at the end of the hallway, Me and Brandon will check the two rooms in the beginning of the hallway, Leon you check the room in the middle” Wade says. “Right” everyone says simultaneously. Amber and Ash, two far rooms. 

“Stay behind me, I’ll take the lead” Ash says, “Sure” Amber says, Ash kicks down the door, and takes out his MP5 gun and holds it tightly in his hands. “No smoke visible in the room, this room must not have been planted, with a C4” Ash says, Ash looks around the room to see, if there was a bomb being hidden in the room. 

“Nothing found on this side of the room, how about you?” Ash says, “Umm no, but I found 5 kg of pot, and an unlit bong” Amber says, “Let’s leave the room” Ash says. 

“ok, let’s check the other room now, can I… can I take the lead this time?” Amber says, Ash moves his head up, implying “Yes”. Amber and Ash move towards the next room, “Why are you just standing there?” Amber asks Ash, “you said you would take the lead, didn’t you?” Ash says, “Oh yeah sorry, just I’ve never done this before” Amber says, Amber opens the door, “This guy didn’t lock his door” Amber says, “Somethings seems wrong” Amber thinks to herself. 

There Amber and Ash see a girl holding a Molotov, “One of the targets been spotted, capture her” Amber yells.

 Ash runs towards her, as he was running the girl lights up the Molotov, causing a fire spreading throughout the whole room. “Shit” Amber says, “I can use my Umbra core to get through the fire” Amber says.  Amber puts water elemental energy into her current magazine, “I’ll shoot the fire with my gun” Amber yells, the fire extinguishes. “Chase after her” Amber yells, Ash and Amber jump out of the window and start chasing after the girl.

The beginning rooms, Wade and Brandon. 

“ok, we need to check these two rooms fast” Wade says, Wade kicks down the door, “Brandon you check the right side of the room, I’ll check the left side” Wade yells, Wade check’s the room for any sign of implantation, “Can’t find any signs of bombs at the scene, have you found anything, Brandon?” Wade says, “No sign, here?” Brandon says, “Hey, I heard loud glass shatter check the window!” Wade yells. 

Brandon walks towards the window with a dagger in his hand, “fuck, Wade one of the suspects is running away, Amber and Ash are chasing her” Brandon says, “Forget the other room and chase her” Wade yells, Brandon and Wade jump out the window, and follow Amber and Ash. Meanwhile in the middle room, Leon. “Why the hell am I always left to do this shit alone?”. 

Leon kicks down the door, “fuck, there’s nothing, let me check around the room first” Leon says. Leon looks around the room, “So far there’s nothing, no signs of any implantation” Leon says, Leon check in the room, “There’s no one in here, so this apartment is clear” Leon says. 

Leon steps outside the door, a huge explosion blast occurs, exploding everything in the area. Leon quickly tries to go back in the room, but he was too late and was caught in the blast. “What the hell was that?” Wade says, Wade and Brandon look back and realize the explosion came from the room Leon was supposed to check. “Shit, that’s Leon’s room, just let Amber and Ash take care of the suspect” Wade says. 

Wade and Brandon are terrified that Leon might’ve died, Wade and Brandon rush inside and go to the room. “Shit, shit smoke everywhere, put on a gas mask” Wade says, Brandon rushes inside the room, Wade and Brandon check around but have trouble finding him. 

“Wade, I found him, come over here!” Brandon says, “Check his pulse!” Wade yells. Brandon check’s Leon’s pulse, “he’s still alive” Brandon says, “Shit he has a big wound in his stomach, fuck carry him out of here and get him to a hospital immediately” Wade says. Brandon puts his hand on Leon’s wound to prevent blood loss. Wade and Brandon take Leon out of the apartment building. 

Everyone eventually meets up right in front of the building, Amber and Ash chase the suspect out of the building, then Ash and Amber suddenly got pushed away by a force. 

A man appears, at the same time Riot runs outside with the girl. Everyone visible in sight at the exact time, chaos was about to arise, the man pushes Ash and Amber, and runs right past Riot. Slicing of the head of the girl clean off, the head flying in the air, blood gushing out of her neck. The corpse of the girl’s body falls to the ground, “fuck, she…she’s dead” Riot says, “It’s one of the suspects, Caprio says”. 

The masked man standing next to the other suspect, the masked man takes off his mask. Caprio realizes he knows that masked man, “Hey Caprio, how’s your sister- heh?” the masked man says, Caprio clenches his fist, takes his gun and sprints towards the masked man. 

The masked man uses his Umbra core, to chain Caprio in place, “hah, barely two words in and you already look like you want me dead, you’re getting all worked up over nothing, hah, you’ve changed…you’re getting weak- heh” the masked man says. “You son of a bitch, don’t you leave!” Caprio yells, “come on let’s go, Ophelia” the masked man says, “whatever ya say, Lucifer” Ophelia says. 

Lucifer and Ophelia leave as Lucifer shows his true form, everyone is shocked at the immense power these two hold.
