Clearing the clues

Clearing the clues

Mar 02, 2022

As Jacob got into the car, he said to Shambu ‘I’m all tired. Get me to home, I need a nap.’ They headed towards Jacob’s house ‘Philippe’s villa’. Jacob got out of the car and went inside the house and said to Shambu,’Go park the car and make me a whiskey. 20ml whisky,10ml soda, 2 drops coffee extract and three ice cubes. Shambu, ‘Okay sir.’

Jacob got into his room, threw his overcoat and hat on sofa, loosened his tie and went for a shower. As he ended with shower, he came out in a bathrobe. He found a whiskey glass on the table. He had it and then lied on his bed. He was thinking about Rasool’s case, then suddenly a thought striked in his mind, that how Shambu knows every detail about Murthy! He yelled loudly,’ Shaembu! Shaembu!’ Shambu came to him and said,’Yes sir?’ Jacob,’How you know so much about that scientist!?’ And as Jacob said this, a heavy pain started on left of his chest.

Shambu,’Confused? You are going to have a heart attack. How come I know? Because I gave you that heart attack. How? I mixed glucose and aldosterone in your whiskey, which is enough to initiate an attack to a heart patient. Wondering who am I? Dr. Krishnamurthy Pillai! Why I don’t look like Rasool? Come on! I am a PhD in zoology. Can’t I face surgery myself?! Why I’m kill you? Because you wanted to know my secret, and you did. You know, I was to leave Scotland and was to go US without killing you, but as I knew you were to handle the case of Rasool. I guess about 2 weeks ago, I spied on you. Attended all your case in these two weeks and I noticed a helping nature of yours towards innocents! So yesterday, I became friend to Wilkins. How? I saved him from an accident planned by myself. He offered me dinner. I went to his place, it was a very small room with no one except him and me . We drank, Sorry, he drank a lot! I extracted every information about you.How your wife left you and everything, the main one was that you lived all alone. According to yesterday’s meeting, I can say that Wilkins, when hears about your death, will somehow try to escape out of this. So he’s of no threat to me, but you! You became the one for me. Just to check, whether you will show mercy to Rasool or not, I became your driver for today. But you don’t want to live! So die now! No one except you know, that I was your driver, not even the medical owner, because I stopped on such a medical store, where there wasn’t any camera and when I bought medicines or let me say a poison for you, my face was covered with the hat on my head. You were too curious about Oliver, right! Let me explain you, I came to Scotland and as I landed, I saw the hoarding of local businessman Mr. Oliver, who resembled my old age, I observed his face and confirmed, that this was the same guy whom I came for. I directly headed to his villa and convinced Oliver to come with me. I tested his body, the genomic sequence matched mine’s totally, blood group matched, immunity matched. I did a study of his whole anatomy for 24 days, though he was old, but he could have added 20 more years of lifespan in my decaying body. The very next day, I mutated him, due to that power he became unconscious. I studied the mutation occurred in him, you know what, his heart got cured, but even mutation was successful. He developed antibody C and respective antigen. Now his whole body was of use to me and my immunity would have even rejected the organ, if he wouldn’t had developed antigen C. At that very moment, I dissected him. He died in relief, he didn’t felt pain. I removed every replaceable organ, brain, eyes, lungs, heart, thymus, thyroid, kidneys, spleen and most essential, the liver. I suffered through pain and operated by myself and had the liver transplanted in myself. I couldn’t have moved anywhere that easily, I called Rasool, asked him to surrender and I waited for the recovery for a month and I was to fly USA after the hearing. But I have to kill you, you must be thinking that how will I go, as my face is changed! So let me tell you, I hacked the embassy of Scotland and made myself VISA and passport for USA. I’m going to be there with real peace, there is no evidence against me and you gonna die with heart attack, as you’re a heart patient. So your death is natural. Did you got it?’

There was no response from Jacob and he was still.

Murthy,’ Do you hear me, Jacob? Did you got it?’ Again no reply. Murthy shook Jacob. Murthy,’ Ah! You died! Rest in peace. Feeling very sad for you, didn’t had any intention to kill you. I didn’t notice when you died, I was so into telling the tale to you. You know, what I start, I finish it properly! Then Murthy erased every evidence related to Jacob’s death and flew to USA on the name of ‘Robinson gills’.
