The movie kept us entertained, we sit and stare at my laptop sitting on the end of my bed. The ending was coming, and Myles’s eyes get glassy when there is a heartbreaking change in the plot. He is crying when the funeral scene plays, I can feel my eyes starting to sting with tears as well. He pulls me into a tight hug as the ending credits play, wiping his eyes he looks me and laughs. I sit up and laugh with him at how we’re both crying over a movie like this.

“I wasn’t expecting that ending, why the fuck did they have to die?” He leant forwards and lent his head onto my chest; I wrap my arms over his shoulders.

“Cause if they lived, they would keep risking their life to help the hero and they would die eventually, or the hero will stop being a hero to protect them.” I answer back as Myles sits up and looks at me with his beautiful eyes. He lifts a side of his lip into a half smile and doesn’t break eye contact.

“I want to see a movie, where both the hero and their lover spend the rest of their lives together, fighting crime, kicking ass together with great risks. But they trust and love each other and win every time.” He says fiddling with his fingers, I can see a blush creeping up on his cheeks.

“Why don’t you make one? You like art, you could make like an animation? I can help with characters and plot if you’d like?” I offered him. I reach out and hold his hands. He looks at our hands and back at me with a wide grin.

“Y-yes, we can make it together! I still haven’t shown you my own art, but I draw a lot of characters and create stories for them. We should create our own characters and they could be the main couple in the stories!” Myles referring to our characters as a couple made my heart flutter and my cheeks feel hot. I nod vigorously.

“But not now, it’s late and I should probably go back to my room.” Myles looks down at our hands again and strokes the back of my hand with his thumb. I didn’t want this night to end. He made this night better than I had hoped it to be.

“You could- you could stay here for the night… Only if you want to though, up to you…” Myles looks back up at me and a smile grows on his face, he nods his head, and a harsh blush was laid out across his cheeks. I get up off my bed and put my laptop back onto my desk. I turn to Myles who was watching me with a little grin.

“Do you want my bed? I can sleep on the floor if you like.” I open a closet to pull out an extra blanket for Myles.

“No, you can have your bed, it’s you room.” He rubs the back of his neck and stands up to help me with a blanket.

“Well, I’ll feel fucking guilty if you sleep on the floor… What if we just share? There is room for both of us to sleep comfortably. Again, up to you.” I offered him whole staring at the blanket in my hands. He walks over and takes the blanket from my hand. I peer through the top of my eyes and Myles was again smiling at me.

“If it’s ok with you, then I wouldn’t mind.” My heart was racing and we both blushed. I walked over and pulled back the bed covers and slid to the slide closest to the wall in my usual spot and let Myles take the spot beside me. I lay out the extra blanket I grabbed from my closet and pulled the covers up to my shoulders. I lift my eyes to look at Myles, he was taking off his glasses and placing them in the bedside table.

“Can you see me without em?” I ask him out of pure curiosity.

“Yeah, they’re mainly for long distance. I can still see your handsome face.” He chuckled and reached out to tuck a strand of hair off my face. I moved closer to him and wrapped my arms around his torso and cuddle into his chest. I caught him off guard, but as always, he rests his arms around my shoulders and pulls me close to him.

We fall asleep within minutes, wrapped in each other’s arms, as close as we can be.
