The next day, everyone walked to the bridal shop that Noah mentioned. They walked inside to see thousands of wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, and tuxes hung up on hangers on long horizontal poles connected to shelves. Other shelves were decorated with bouquets, shoes, jewelry, crowns, veils, and bow ties.
"Wow," Cora said. "I never knew so many dresses existed."
"Ok, everyone. Let's split up into boys and girls," Noah instructed.
Everyone followed Noah's instructions and split up. The boys went to the section with tuxes while the girls went to the section with dresses.
"First, let's find Cora a dress," Jay said, walking over to the long line of dresses. “What is your ideal wedding dress, Cora?”
Cora put her hand on her chin for a minute and then said, “I want a lace top and a silk bottom.”
“One strap or two straps or none,” Jay asked.
“I want two straps,” Cora said with a nodd.
“Off shoulder or on the shoulder?” Jay asked.
“On the shoulder,” Cora said.
“Alright, ladies, you heard the girl. Lace top with a silk bottom and two straps on the shoulders,” Jay repeated.
Natalie, Georgia, Mackenzie, and Isabella nodded and went to different dress racks to look at more wedding dresses.
After a little while, Natalie, Georgia, Mackenzie, and Isabella walked over to Cora with a single wedding dress that they had each picked out, laid out over their arm.
“I thought this dress would look great on you,” Natalie said, holding up a beautiful white wedding dress with two tank top like sleeves with a patterned laced top and a white layered lace bottom.
“I picked this dress out for you,” Georgia said, holding up a gorgeous white silk dress with a laced belt and a laced layer on top of the white silk sleeveless top.
“What do you think of this one?” Mackenzie and Isabella said, holding up a beautiful white silk dress, similar to the one Georgia was holding, but instead of a sleeveless top, it had long sleeves.
“They are all so beautiful,” Cora gushed, looking at every dress individually.
After a few seconds, which seemed like forever, Cora finally said, “I’ll take that one.” She lifted her finger and pointed it at the gorgeous wedding dress that Georgia was holding.
“Thank you,” Cora said, after Georgia had handed her the dress.
“You’re welcome,” Georgia said. “Now, go try it on. We all want to see what you look like with it on.”
“I can't, the guys are here,” Cora said with a serious look on her face.
“Oh yeah. Sorry, I forgot about that,” Georgia said with a small laugh.
“It’s ok,” Cora said with a warm smile. “Now, let’s find you all some bridesmaids dresses. I’m thinking of doing different styles of the same colored dress. I’m thinking of the color peachish pink. What do you guys think?”
“I love the idea,” Jay said, encouragingly.
“Me too,” Georgia said with a smile.
“Me three,” Mackenzie said, enthusiastically.
“Me four,” Isabella said with a huge smile on her face.
“Awesome. I’ll pick out Natalie’s dress for her since she’s not here,” Cora said with a nodd.
