Although Erica threw Professor Glenn's card away, his action did cause inconvenience for her.　Whenever she is at the club, people pay Erica more attention. Erica never wanted to show her drawings nor discuss drawings with anymore. Those unnecessary social makes her tired. She doesn't hate the idea of making friends, and willing to be someone who makes others happy. It is just she is not good at it.

      After she lost her parents and went back to school, there's a time period, Erica did try to join the group and makes everyone happy. But it only makes her unhappy and getting a lot of pressure. Soon she realised she is not good at social, sometimes she can unknowingly piss someone off. Gradually she stopped trying, maybe it's better to be alone, you don't have to force yourself to get along with everyone.

      Erica decided to stop going to the drawing club for a while. She want to go back to her normal life. Unfortunately, Ellie showed up too often recently. Professor Glenn didn't hear from Erica, he asked Ellie's help. 
　  During the past  week, Erica came across Ellie more than 8 times. Three times in lecture room, god knows in are doing different majors, two times in the canteen.  When Erica saw Ellie in front of her condo left by her parents, she asked.

       "What do you want exactly?"

         Ellie answered, " Can you please join the game project Professor Glenn talked before? It is a really good opportunity, you can make some money and think it as an internship."

          Erica can't help but wondered why Ellie would make such great effort to persuade her. Maybe she is still suspicious about painting 534? But neither of them mentioned about that drawing anymore. Ellie still showed up at Erica's place uninvited from time to time, sometimes they will have a cup of coffee.

　　Sometimes Erica will get annoyed, such as now, she can see from the peephole that Ellie is sitting on the stairs in front of Erica's condo crying. It is the second time already!

'Why would you do that, we are not friends! I don't even know you! Why can't you go somewhere I can't see! I am not good at this! What should I do?' Erica screamed in her heart.

　　While  Erica is crying, the baby in her belly lifted the head up and cried in a really wired way at Erica. Erica is losing her patience, she want to turned away and disappear. After some hesitation, Erica opened the door and let Ellie in.
　　Erica led Ellie to the sofa and handed out her Chris Hemsworth collection silently. She also covered Ellie with her duck blanket. At the end she put a cup of chicken soup on the table. That's her way of getting better, hope it will work for Ellie too.

          Ellie took a sip of the soup, she didn't look at the Chris Hemsworth collection. Erica took a Timothee Chalamet collection and handed over..... Eille looked two pages at the end. 

          Erica took her phone out, " What is your housemate Miller's No.? I can contact her to pick you up. If you have anything, you can talk to her."

         Ellie sighed, " Don't bother, she doesn't like me anyway."

          Erica thought 'but you guys are like bff, always together.' Erica choose to not ask, she thought if she ask, maybe Ellie will never stop talking. It would be troublesome. Girls are too complicated.

　　Erica asked "what about that tall guy and that band guy in our club, you guys seems close, I can contact him."

           Ellie said," I don't think any of them really into me. I don't want to bother them."

          'Then you are not worried you are bothering me?' Erica thought.

           " We are not that close either." Erica said.

           Ellie stared at Erica then she said, " they seems really nice and friendly to me, but no one cares about me at all....... But you.....you are really..  The first time I thought you are not home, so I cried on the stair, you let me in and took care of me. You are really soft. You knew something about me, do you?"

         Erica didn't reply. She thought whatever she say will cause trouble.

　　Ellie waited a while and continued ''I was really scared and embarrassed, but it seems you are more awkward than me. How should I say it, you are really nice person.

         Erica took the duck blanket and her precious collection away. " You are wrong, I am not a nice person. Don't cry in my place anymore."

         Ellie replied, " You are actually really cute. If you make some effort, change your hair style and do some make ups, lot of guys will be interested in you. 
　　Now Erica feels offended, she doesn't care whether any guy likes her. She is not cute!
　　"What kind of guy are you into?" Ellie continued. 
          Erica stared at Ellie with poker face. 

          After a while, Ellie went back to the game project topic.  " So you are seriously not considering about the project? The project leader is our student union president Luis. He is doing software engineering. And you can make some money and gain good experience."

        Erica replied seriously, "I don't know how to design game characters. I can't explain it. I will blow the project." ' And I don't like Professor Glenn.' Erica added in her heart.

         Ellie seems not buying this, " Don't you want to talk to Justin?  I gave your Snapchat to him, he said he added you, but you didn't accept his friend's request."

         Erica replied,' I think there's someone who added me several days ago, but I don't know him, so I rejected. But it doesn't matter, I am not going to join the project anyway."

         Ellie widened her eyes, " You know how much girls would pay to get Justin's id? He rarely accept any random friend's request. I bet this is the first time, he added someone, and got rejected! I bet you didn't see him at all!"

        Erica scorned. She never met with Justin before, but she is show she is not going to like him. 
　   Justin is really famous at University. Erica saw someone made a banner to confess to Justin on her enrolment day. But it was disrupted by the prom queen who is also Justin's childhood sweetheart. It was like a Tv drama.  And Erica can hear stories of this love triangle on campus all the time. Erica thought this Justin must be so proud of himself.
　　At the end Erica learned Justin refused two girls. All the other girls at school seems satisfied with this result. Someone even posted school's blog. " Justin is a piece of art, like Greek statue, he is the common asset for all girls."
         Erica doesn't understand why girls obsessed with Greek statue appearance. She thought we are human beings, we can look beyond shallow appearance, we should focus on something more important, such as the truth of the universe, origin of life and astonishing knowledge.  Besides, Justin can't be hotter than Chris Hemsworth or young Tom cruse. She would prefer to look more at young Leonardo Dicaprio or young Keanu Reeves. Those are the true common asset for human beings.
　　When Ellie finally got herself together. She finished two bags of chips and one cup of 2 litre ice cream. She took a satisfied burp. Ellie talked a lot about school gossips, but she didn't mention why she was crying. Erica didn't ask either.
　　Ellie invited Erica to the Halloween party tomorrow night. " You can talk to Professor Glenn and Justin yourself and know more the project. Even you want to refuse them, you should tell them yourself. "

          Erica refused right away. " I don't like social, I don't like Halloween party either."
　　Ellie continued, "There's a lot of free food, chips, ice cream, pizza. Maybe just for fun."
　　Erica hesitated, still said no.
　　Ellie seems finally gave up. She mumbled, " I thought I can go to the party with my new friend...." The baby in hear belly stopped eating the flesh and looked disappointed.
　　The illusion has changed, so this is the truth. Ellie would like to go to the party with Erica. Just like normal girl friends, they will go to shopping and manicures together. Erica suddenly felt something. Ever since the accident of her parents, no one asked her out as friends. You know not out of pity or curiosity. Just two friends hang out together. 
　　Erica hesitate for a while then said, " Let's go to the party together."

          Ellie took Erica's hands speaks with puppy eyes," Oh yes! Let's go together. I can introduce you to Justin, he can take you for a dance!"

           Erica regretted instantly," I told you I am not interested in him!"

           Ellie replied, " Erica, there are two kinds of girls in our uni, the first kind can honestly say they like Justin, the second kinds are too shy to admit it."
　　 Erica rolled her eyes didn't say anything.
