Somewhere in one of the many dimensions lies a world called the “Forgotten City of Dynasty” Standing in the ruins is a man dressed in black, from hair color to their shoes and in front of him stands a woman dressed in yellow, from her hair color to her shoes.
Smoke rising behind them as they stare into each other’s eyes. As rocks crumble to the ground of what seems to be a destroyed area. Both look like they are in their twenties having a standoff with each other.
The woman holds a bow while the man in front of her is unarmed. She raises her weapon at him and gets into her stance. The man responds by taking a few steps back. He looks anxious as he realizes that he is in a dangerous situation.
In that moment a bright light radiated from the woman as an arrow materialized in the bow. Before he knew what was going on, the woman fired at him.
Someplace else in the deepest parts of the dimensions is a place called “Ruinlict”. A dimension that consists of three different worlds called the Deculant, Mortarition, and TonVallée. These separate worlds in this dimension circle a bright dark light that exists in the center of the world.
Corruption, deficient, lamented, deleterious, and secluded are but mere words to describe such a cruel place this is.
From a world that burns for eternity with dark clouds and burned corpses: Deculant.
A world that is poisoned from all over, causing all life forms to wither away once set foot in: Mortarition.
To finally a world that is instant death for any who set foot in it: TonVallée.
Only those with the power and resistance of such worlds can withstand such nightmares to enter. As such the population of these worlds stay very, very low.
In the world of TonValée exists a forever raging thunderstorm. From the mountain to the landscapes lies destruction. Thunder bolts striking every inch of the world dismantling it little by little.
On the ground below lies a person dashing through the land in the form of a yellow lightning bolt called Hyaku. Bolts of lightning strike the ground as if they are aimed at the yellow flash below.
Hyaku quickly approaches what seems to be a long and big canyon. Once he reaches the edge he looks around with a confused look and then looks down. Seeing many waterfalls from multiple points of the canyon. Being unable to understand if something was wrong in what was below the canyon or/and what was around him, he jumps down. With a curious and somewhat determined look on his face.
The canyon does not seem to end as Hyaku continues to fall down. With a bit of concern he tilts his body to reach the edges of the wall. As his shoes touch the edges he uses his footing to gain control of his momentum, engulfing himself in lightning he dashes on the wall of the canyon downward.
As he dashes through the walls of the canyon, he finds it strange that after all his traveling, he’s just found out this place now.
He looks around as the waterfalls seem strangely odd. Not knowing what his gut feeling was he stumbled as he had just run past a waterfall, he noticed something was strange. He runs into a large rock to return back to the waterfall. As he approaches it he slows down and grabs some of the wall to project himself into the waterfall. He enters the waterfall into a cave and as he thought something really was there.
“No way, a passage right below, hidden under the waterfall”, he says with a surprised look on his face.
The cave is quite dim and Hyaku doesn’t look all that concerned. He releases a small amount of electricity and fires it forward. It does not travel all that far and Hyaku walks slowly. He surrounds himself in electricity as he walks, paying attention to his surroundings.
“I hope this can lead me to some clues”, he says as he approaches the end but looks around and finds another path to his right. After a few steps to the left he sees a light in the distance. He approaches it and enters a big room and finds a giant gate before him.
“W-what, a labyrinth gate? Here? Behind the waterfall…?”
Hyaku looks around, seeming as if he is troubled before touching the gate. He falls to his knees mad at himself for forgetting that the gates existed.
“Sigh, I was too focused on finding the portals to escape this world that I blanked out the existence of the gates. No time to regret anything…just focus on the matter at hand” he says as he gets up with a fire in his eye.
When he gets closer to the gate a faint image appears in his head. A replay of the many times he’s failed to reach a portal to escape this world. His mind then goes blank after a seconds and then he shakes his head forcing himself to get a hang of himself. He looks up as he gets his head in the game, staring straight into the labyrinth gate. As he gets closer he realizes that something doesn’t seem right as he utters these words.
“This might be it…my chance to escape this world.”
Not knowing what that gut feeling is, he begins his search for clues.
Hyaku scrutinizes the labyrinth gate with a sense of disbelief. As he looks around he heeds to the many markings that look strange but resembles a language. A feeling of uneasiness hits him as he looks around more. He comes to some of the markings that look familiar. His heart skips a beat.
“The labyrinth will only allow…” he says with a hint of shiver in his voice. Not knowing how he was about to read it he takes a step back and accidentally falls to the ground. The ground shakes a bit and rocks move as he fell onto his back. Unable to gather the strength to get back up he stays there lying on the ground.
“W-what’s happening?” His vision starts to get blurry and his lightning starts to wear off, slowly making the room darker and darker. His stomach feels pain and his arms feel weak. He tries mustering up strength but can’t seem to and is getting dizzy.
“Haha, man. I don’t know how much longer I can go on”, he says, slowly closing his eyes, unable to stay conscious. “What do I need to do…to find a way to open it and be free…”
The cave starts to glow constantly the moment a few seconds after he passes out. The gate lightened up and the entrance way to the gate was glowing as well. The canyon itself also starts to light up and a small noise comes from the bottom of the canyon. Looking long, deep and scary.
