“Stop moving.” Markus stared at the blond sitting on the stool in front of him. “My apologies, Markus.” Simon smiled at him, his face blue. “Just stay still, so I can paint you.” Markus smiled back and chuckled softly, returning to the canvas, his brush stroked the canvas with precision as he painted Simon’s jawline, the caucasian android stared at the painting for a moment before continuing to paint. Simon tried his best not to move or speak, his thirium pump working overtime to supply thirium to his heart. “Are you almost done, Markus?” Simon asked. “No.” The android replied quickly, not looking at the other. “Painting takes time.” Markus said, he sat there and painted for a few more minutes. “There. Perfect,” he set the brush in the water and the palette down on the table, he picked up the canvas and turned it around carefully so Simon could see it. “It looks exactly like me.” Simon exclaimed. Markus just chuckled once more and set the canvas back down on the easel. Simon stood and walked over to Markus. “My beautiful husband,” Markus smiled and took Simons hand, interlacing his fingers with Simons, their artificial skin retracting at the touch, revealing the white chassis underneath. Simon’s blue wedding band sparkled in the light. “You’ll always be my muse.” Markus whispered as he leaned in close to connect their lips, kissing his significant other with love and sincerity.
