Dean hated shopping. He hated it with every fiber of his being. He hated having to walk around for an hour and a half and look for shit they probably didn’t even need. But, it was necessary as Sam and his doofus of a archangel boyfriend decided to invite some people over to the bunker for dinner. Sam said it was good for them to make friends and so the kids can play with eachother while the adults chat. The hunter didn’t want to chat with simple minded strangers that didn’t know anything about his job or how he fucking saved the world with own hands. Well, technically, him and his brother saved the world, more times than one. But, at least Cas had agreed to come along with him, he had even brung Jude, their six year old.
Castiel was picking up a few things from other aisle, Dean was watching Jude closely as he played with some of his cars. Jude made little vroom vroom and beep beep noises as his cars skirted past eachother, which Dean though was pretty adorable. “Daddy.” Jude looked up at Dean. “Yeah?” He raised his eyebrow. “Why is that lady staring at me?” Jude pointed to the blonde woman in the aisle, who was trying to act like she was looking for something. “I don’t know, bubba.” Dean picked his son up and held him. Castiel came back, his trench coat swaying. “What’s wrong?” The blue eyed angel asked. “Jude said that lady is staring at him.” Dean replied, Castiel put the stuff in the cart. “Hm, that’s…odd.” Castiel said, Dean followed his boyfriend, still holding Jude. They made their way to the next aisle, and there she was, yet again. They got what they needed and made their way to the checkout. “Excuse me?” The woman walked over. “Is this your child?” She asked. “Yeah, the last time I checked, he is.” Dean replied. “Really? Then where’s your wife?” The woman asked. “Why do you need to know?” Dean asked while Castiel was loading stuff onto the conveyor belt. “Because, I must meet the woman who made this beautiful child of yours.” She replied. “I don’t have a wife.” Dean replied as he helped Cas. “Oh? So he’s adopted?” The woman asked, Jude was sitting in the cart, playing with the cars. “Something like that.” Dean answered, they paid for their groceries and left the store, the woman didn’t follow but two security officers walked over as they were loading stuff into the Impala. “Sir, is this your child? The woman inside is claimed he’s hers.” The security man asked. “Yeah, he’s mine. He has brown hair and fucking blue eyes. Does that lady have brown hair? Or blue eyes. Tell her to stop stalking us or she’s gonna regret it.” Dean said, he pushed to cart to the area where the staff pick them up and walked over over to the Impala, the hunter kisses his boyfriend on the cheek.
Castiel smiled and got into the Impala, the security officers walk away, walking over to the Karen who was now standing by her car, a smug look on her face. “Ma’am, that’s not your child.” The security officer said. “But, he is! He just came from a different woman! He’s adopted!” She whined like a baby and stomped her foot on the ground. “Show us some proof or we’re calling the cops,” the second security officer asked, Dean smirked at the Karen and flipped her off as he drove away, revving the engine of the Impala as he did it. “Bitch.” He mumbled under his breath.
The Winchesters then proceeded to have a lovely dinner and they never saw that Karen again.
