The carriage reached the palace and Bethany stepped out carrying Wendy in her arms.

“Your majesty, you have returned!” A servant said bowing.

“Yes, and I have brought Princess Wendy home with me,” Bethany said.

“How wonderful! Here let me take the Princess to her room,” the servant said, reaching her arms out to take Wendy.

“No, thank you. I would like to take her if you don’t mind,” Bethany said politely.

“Of course,” the servant said bowing.

Ethan walked up to the servant holding Wendy’s suitcase. “Here. Please wash the clothes inside,” Ethan said, handing the suitcase to the servant.

“Yes sir,” the servant said, bowing and then walking away towards the palace with the suitcase in her arms.

“Here. Would you like me to take her?” Ethan asked, holding his arms out.

“Sure,” Bethany said, handing Wendy over to Ethan. As soon as Wendy was in Ethan’s arms, her head slumped almost immediately to his shoulder.

“Let’s get her to her room,” Ethan said walking towards the palace with Wendy in his arms. Bethany grabbed a hold of his free arm and walked alongside him to the palace.

A long while later, Bethany and Ethan tucked Wendy into bed. Bethany kissed Wendy on her forehead and then shut the door behind her. Leaving Wendy in her room all alone to sleep.

“So. . .now what?” Ethan asked, putting his hands in his pockets.

“Now we can do whatever we want,” Bethany said, walking over to Ethan. She wrapped her arms around his neck and put her hands in his hair.

“I like that idea,” Ethan said, grabbing Bethany’s waist and pulling her closer towards his chest. They leaned in towards each other and their lips met. They stood there for a moment, kissing each other.

Ethan then broke the kiss and said, “Man, I can’t wait to marry you.”

“I know. I just want to wait until. . .” Bethany began.

“Until you have found all your sisters. Yes, I know,” Ethan said finishing Bethany’s sentence.

“I do still love you, though,” Bethany said.

“I love you, too,” Ethan said, pulling Bethany into another kiss.

“Ahem!” A voice said.

Ethan and Bethany broke the kiss and glanced over. It was Sir Williams.

“Sorry to interrupt, but we found another one of your sisters while you were gone,” Sir Williams said.

“Really?!” Bethany said, breaking free from Ethan’s grasp.

Ethan’s arms then returned sadly to his sides.

“Yes. We found Princess Savannah,” Sir Williams said with a smile.
