Foreword:

Hello, I'm GameMaker8YT. The author of this light novel series. This is my first light novel and I apologize in advance for my inexperience. I hope you enjoy.

“What the hell was that? We’re screwed” Riot says, “No, we’re not, everything going to work out” Wade says, “did you see what the fuck just happened, 2 people just came and attacked us and destroyed us, a guy with angel wings, he chained the most powerful person here like it was nothing, what the hell are you supposed to know!” Riot yells, “I’m scared…I don’t know what to do!” Riot says. 

Caprio walks towards Riot in an angry manner, Caprio aims his gun at Riot’s head, whilst he was crying. 

“now, listen here you little shit, you choose to come here, if you were going to act like a pussy the whole time then why’d you even come here, this job isn’t for losers, it’s for the soulless; now, we don’t need someone who still has a soul, do we?” Caprio says. Riot continues to cry, Kurohe and Elana console Riot as they go back to their horses. 

There was a child lying on the floor, “Stop! There’s a wounded child on the floor” Caprio says, “What should we do?” Wade asks. “This could be a trap” Caprio says, “We can’t just leave a girl wounded there like that” Elana says. Elana slowly walks towards the girl on the floor, she then proceeds to inspect the girl. “shit this girl must’ve been raped, she doesn’t have a shirt on but why? What is this scar on her stomach it spreads towards her whole torso” Elana says. 

A beeping noise starts to appear, beep…beep…beep, “Wait what is that” Elana says. Realizing what the beeping noise is Elana tries to run away, but the bomb inside the girl explodes, smoke and ash cover the surrounding area. Riot starts to scream, he’s becoming mentally unstable, “E…Elana” Leon says quietly. 

Blood and pieces of flesh from the bomb start to fly all over the place, even landing on Ash and Caprio. Everyone completely covered in blood, wondering if Elana is still alive. 

The smoke starts to clear up, “Wait, where’s Kurohe? I can’t see him anywhere” Brandon says, the smokes clear’s up, Elana on the floor completely shocked with tears coming out of her eyes, and Kurohe standing right behind her using his Umbra Core to create a protective shield around Elana, with his flying swords. “Kurohe… he saved Elana” Brandon says, Kurohe coughs out blood, “Shit that hurt…are you okay Elana?” Kurohe says, collapsing on the floor. 

“Kurohe!, Kurohe!”, “Shit, can’t hear nothing, where am I? am I dead?” Kurohe thinks to himself. “heh- I saved Elana, huh I actually did something good” Kurohe thinks to himself, “Kurohe, Kurohe!” Elana yells…

The next day. 

“So, how’s he doing?” Caprio says, “Well, he has a stomach cavity, and has 3 broken ribs” the nurse says, “Don’t tell me what he fucking has, tell me how the hell he is doing” Caprio says, “He’s doing fine, should wake up in the next 24 hours, he used part of his Umbra Core to speed up the process,, which internally means that his powers will be numb for the next day or two…” the nurse says, “don’t you screw up” Caprio says. 

“What the hell is happening, who’s that?” Kurohe thinks to himself. Agami Hospital, outside room 134. “How did the General take it?” Amber says, “We didn’t get into as much shit” Caprio says, “But, why?” Brandon says. 

“we identified the identities of the two suspects” Caprio says, “Now we have a lead, we can track them down whenever we want to- heh” Caprio says. Caprio takes out a cigarette and lights it, “*whosh* *whoosh*, but Elana I don’t think she’s doing too well” Caprio says. 

Elana curled up in a corner worried if Kurohe is going to survive, “Shouldn’t any of us try to help her?” Amber says, “Nah, it’s best to just leave it like that” Caprio says, “How could you say that” Riot says, “This job is all about death and darkness, whoever decides or was forced to do this job already decided, that from this point on their whole life is fucked, you all agreed to that didn’t you” Caprio says, “I…I know but, those Elana and Kurohe wanted to get married” Amber says, “They…they were?” Caprio says, Caprio finally feels sad and angered. 

“No one should be dumb enough, to date or get married to someone in this job, you should never feel happy when in this job it’ll only fuck things up” Caprio says. Nighttime. 

“Wonder if he’s gonna wake up?” Brandon says, the door of Kurohe’s hospital room opens, “He’s awake” the nurse says, Elana’s eye open with tears coming out of her eye’s. Elana stands up and rushes inside the room, “So I’m still alive huh” Kurohe says *Yaaawn*.  Kurohe see’s Elana run toward him, “*blaaargh*” Kurohe says, while Elana jumps on Kurohe. 

“Hey, you alright?” Kurohe says, Elana turns her head up, Elana starts to cry “No” Elana says, Elana punches Kurohe in the chest “Hey, what was that for?” Kurohe says, “Don’t make me worry like that” Elana says quietly. “Sorry what’ya say?” Kurohe says, “Don’t you ever make me worry like that!” Elana says, “you promise?” Elana says quietly, “I promise” Kurohe says. 

“Hey so how do you feel?” Caprio says, “Fine…I guess” Kurohe says, “Come, let’s go” Caprio says. Caprio tries to stand up, “Wait…can I stay like this for a bit?” Elana says, “Fine. Meet me outside the hospital in 20 minutes” Caprio says, “Okay” Elana says quietly. Hospital Outside. 

“So, what do we do now?” Leon says, “We wait for a confirmation of the next mission, from the General” Caprio says. “Will we be joining you on your next mission?” Amber says, “I don’t know, the General decides if you did good or not, not me” Caprio says. “But, right now this mission here isn’t Umbran’s biggest focus” Caprio says, “Then, what is?” Brandon says, “Finding the first Sentinel Wrumoth, the investigation of the dungeon has been going on for months, even the Xethain squads are working on it” Caprio says, “But, so far no signs of the dungeon even if they did find it I have no fucking idea how the hell they are going to beat that thing” Caprio says, “The only squad that could defeat a sentinel would be Armanda” Leon says, “I really do hope I can get into squad Armanda one day, or at least be a part of the investigation” Leon says. 

“But, my squad will probably be one of the Squads investigating the Wrumoth dungeon- heh” Caprio says, “Hey, no need to brag we’re just rookies” Brandon says, “You know if you manage to catch those two suspects and kill them, you might be a part of the investigation as well” Caprio says, “Really? Everyone says” except Ash with a bright look on their eye’s. 

“We might get a raise!” Amber says, “I can buy so much food and live in a good apartment- wow” Amber says. “Ha, you probably just want Ash to live with ya’’” Leon says, “Shut up” Amber says. “Hey, we’re back” Kurohe says, “Wow, you don’t even need crunches or anything” Riot says, “Nope, luckily we have Umbran soldiers who use their Umbra Core to heal me, so it’s not as bad, and plus I’m technically a superhuman- heh” Kurohe says. “Come on let’s get goin’ then” Caprio says. Agami Headquarters. 

“*beep*, Just got a message, probably the General with an update on the terrorist case” Caprio says, “Well…read it!” Leon says, Caprio open his Prism and checks his messages. 

“The identities of the two suspects have been confirmed, you must pursue them starting on January 25^th, 381 AU, your compensation from the last mission has been sent to all the members accounts. 

This upcoming mission is possibly one of the biggest we’ve ever had, Lucifer will be fought for the second and last time.” The message says, “You have a few days to spare, meet me here at the lobby on January 25^th, your money has been transferred to your accounts, now go do whatever the hell you want just be prepared when you come back, this will be the biggest mission you’ve ever had” Caprio says. 

“Right” everyone says simultaneously. Everyone walks out of the headquarters. 

“So now that we’re in Agami can we finally take a break in our squad’s house?” Brandon says, “Fine, but two of you need to go find work to do before we start the Lucifer pursuit” Caprio says, “Okay, okay then who’s staying?” Leon says, “According to our performance review there you and Brandon have been the worst performing members, so you two need to practice before you take on this mission” Caprio says, “aahhh, fuck, fine I guess you’re right, come on Brandon let’s go, we’re taking the horses by the way!” Leon says. 

Leon walks away while sticking up the middle finger to Wade.
