He rushes us inside a random room that is empty. I move in farther and cross my arms before turning to face Arderas. I remained motionless, peering around the room. There were two sofas and a coffee table in the room.
That is all there is to it. It was little, and it reeked of cigarette smoke.
"I don't want to be here any longer. It's disgusting."
"You sort of have to. You're the one who had the audacity to hide in my boot "I frown and walk up to him, my arms still crossed.
"I just wanted to get a feel for what it's like to be at a party."
I furrow my brows and look at him.
"Do you think that's too much to ask?"
"Look, if you were my sister, I'd bring you to parties and everything"
what the hell...
"But I'm not your sister," I clarified.
"You,
on the other hand, are to Caden. And if he finds out, he will be
furious with me. That is to say, our friendship may come to an end."
"
Caden is quite protective of you, and I don't believe you realise
that." I remained silent, looked around the room and heaving a sigh.
I don't want to stay in here all night; I'd rather be with you, Arderas, and participate in the party.
"What happens if I'm afraid?"
"And how confident are you that no one will enter here?"
He
sighs quietly and gives me a feeble smile. He takes a step closer and
rests his hand on my shoulder.I look down at his hand and gently raise
my eyes to meet his.
"Every hour, I'll check in on you."
"Every hour?"
"Why not every five or ten minutes?" My heart was beating just thinking about being alone in here.
" I don't want to lie, you kind of ruined my night"
" I want to have fun and every hour is the best"
" But-" As he walks backwards out of the room, he waves at me, shushing me and smiling.
I screamed silently, frowning my brows. I couldn't stop pacing around the room.
What am I expected to do in this place?
suffer and die from the smell?

An hour later
Is it really an hour? He was supposed to come back and check on me.
The
door opens unexpectedly, and I whirl around, terrified. Ardera's head
pops out and smiles at me as the door opens wider. I noticed him
bringing a dish of popcorn and a can of coke into the room.
"I was afraid you'd forgotten about me," I admitted honestly as I saw him close the door with his foot and walk towards me.
"I'm here now," He murmured.
" Arderas..." He stares at me, waiting for me to finish.
"I have to go to the restroom."
"Are you unable to keep it in?" When I saw him sigh angrily, I gently shook my head. I held my bladder in, desperately needing to go to the bathroom.
"Okay, try to follow me "
I gave him a nod as I watched Arderas move towards the door, and I trailed behind him. He steps out first, putting his hand out behind him, as if he wants me to take it. I take his hand in mine, feeling him tighten his grip as he carefully leads us to the bathroom. When I looked around the area, I noticed that some people were sleeping. Others can be found kissing, dancing, and smoking.
"All
right, hurry up," Arderas murmured, leaning against the restroom wall. I
nervously opened the door and then came to a halt when I noticed
someone inside. A man jerks off to himself and smirks as he slowly looks
across at me.
He comes to a halt and looks at me.
"Hey cheeto puffs, why don't you give me part of that fat ass?" he laughed to himself.
My eyes wet, and I felt Arderas standing behind me. He wrapped his hand around me and covered my eyes. I remained motionless as he twisted me around to face him and pushed me into his chest.
"How
about I give you a bit of my fist?"Arderas warns him as he continues to
squeeze my face into his chest. I closed my eyes and breathed his
wood-scented perfume.
"All right, man, chill," hearing a nervous giggle from behind.
"I was only checking her out."
"If you look at her, I'll make sure you don't see another daylight," Arderas growled, his body tensing with rage.
I
bite my lower lip, relishing how close our bodies are. I hear the guy
walking away from us before slapping my ass. Uncomfortably, I winced and
grasped Ardera's shirt tightly. Arderas took notice right away, pushed
me to the side, and charged at the man. He strikes him for the first
time.
"Stop, Arderas!" I shouted and tried to pull him away by clutching his shirt from behind.
Arderas
keeps kicking him, but he manages to flee. Arderas sighs and turns
around, wiping his sweaty hair back with his hand. He frowns at me as he
shook his sore knuckles.
"Are you all right, Arderas?" He grabs my hand and drags me into the bathroom. He closes and locks the door.
I
furrow my brows as I notice him panting tiredly as he turns around and
glares at me. He storms towards me, his nostrils flaring, and I take a
step back. I slammed my back against the wall. He pressed his hand
against the wall next to me, trapping me. I shivered and looked down,
not wanting to meet his enraged gaze.
"This is why I wanted to bring you home"
"You don't understand, this environment isn't for you" I stare at my sneakers and bite the insides of my gum.
" I don't think he meant it..."
" You don't think he meant it?" He scoffs angrily and repeats what I said. "Was it nice when he touched you?"
"No,
but I have to use..."I muttered that I needed to use the restroom.
Before going to the bathroom, I remove my cardigan and hand it to him.
Fortunately, there was an additional door for the toilet. I quickly
finished my thing and exited, heading for the sink to wash my hands. I
turned to face Arderas, held out my hand, and waited for him to return
my cardigan. He gives me a serious glare and puts the cardigan around my
waist. I'm perplexed, so I frown. He tightens his grip on my cardigan
and draws me closer to him.
"At least your legs aren't as exposed"
I crossed my arms and replied, "You're being overdramatic." I groaned as we both went out of the bathroom, he chuckles and nods.
He returns me to the stinking chamber and shuts the door.
Once again, you've abandoned me.

Hours later
I looked out the window and noticed a large number of people departing.
Is the party over?
"Arderas, where have you gone?" I paced around the room, whispering to myself. I clenched my teeth and stared at the door.
I'm tempted to go out there.
I sighed and walked over to it, slightly opening the door. Peering out the window, I noticed folks hurrying to flee and those who were completely knocked out. I stepped out of the house cautiously and rushed outdoors, only to see Arderas driving away.
Is he...is he going without me?
I felt my eyes watering up as I widened them. I wrapped my arms around myself and took a look around the practically empty driveway. I can't stay here any longer; I need to get home, but how? I don't have any money with me at the moment. I let out a long sigh and began walking away, removing the cardigan from my waist and putting it on. As I walked out of the driveway and near the pathway, I shivered into the cold night. I see a car approaching, heading in my direction. I squinted my eyes against the bright headlights and quickly glanced down to avoid attracting unwanted attention. I exhaled a sigh of relief as they drove passed me.
I don't want strangers approaching me.
Suddenly, I heard the vehicle reverse, and out of the corner of my eye, I noticed that the identical car had returned.
My heart sank as I realised what had happened.
Meltem, keep your cool.
I kept walking while they continued to reverse back to keep up with me. I came to a halt and kneeled down, picked up a random pebble from the ground and hurling it at the approaching vehicle.
" Leave me alone!" I screamed at them and was about to pick up another rock to throw when I heard them come out of the car.
"It's me!"
"Arderas?" My emotions soon shifted once I uttered it and dropped the rock. I was filled with rage and ran at him.
I started slamming my hands against his chest.
"You abandoned me!"
"You completely forgot about me!" I continued to pound him while raising my voice.
He grabs my hands and squeezes them strongly, leaning up close to my face.He inhales deeply, his breath visible through the chill of the air. "I did, but didn't I come back?"
"I can't believe you forgot about me,"
"Are you still whining?"I drew my hands away from his grip and stood still, making a thin line with my lips.
I was standing right in front of him, peering into his gorgeous brown eyes.
"I'll keep complaining since you left me in there for hours and who knows, you might not have returned."
" Meltem," he said angrily, his finger slowly pointing at me. I remained silent, staring at him, and my eyes pricked.
"Get in the car," he says as he grabs my arm and drags me to the other side of his vehicle. He swings the passenger door open and waits for me to enter. I cross my arms and refuse to listen to him. He pushed my head inside the car after hearing him groan angrily. As he forces me to sit, I wince softly. I stared at him as he took the seatbelt and drew it over my torso. I stared at him as he grabbed my seatbelt and dragged it across my body. I moved around like a child, being obnoxious.
" Meltem," he warned, pausing and staring at me. With a serious expression on my face, I returned his stare before rolling my eyes at him. He fastens his seatbelt and closes the door before running over to the other side and into the driver's seat.
"Sorry. Caden was wasted once again, and I had completely forgotten about you." "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it.""
