I sighed contentedly as I placed the last dish on the table. I'm taking a look at the breakfast buffet I've prepared for today.

"Is it true that my younger sister is a chef?" He muttered this apologetically as he walked over to the table and sat down. He rubs his eyes and sighs gently.
" My head..."
He groans again, and I smile as I take his coffee and deliver it to him. He looks down at the coffee I've handed him and stops scratching his eyes.

"Is that a cup of coffee?" 

"No, Caden. It's hot chocolate "I replied, sarcastically, as I saw his blank expression. I answered, rolling my eyes and tossing him a tablet for his hangover,

 "Yes, it's coffee."

"There's a glass of water next to you that you can drink with your pill."

" I'm not sure if I'm dreaming or not. I'm sure I am, since my little sister would never make me coffee in a million years." He remarked this while pointing to his mug. I sighed deeply and shook my head at him.

I replied hesitantly, " Caden, shut up and drink it."

Caden shrugs his shoulders as he swallows his tablet and drinks some water. When I look around, I see Arderas coming down the steps. While yawning, he rubs his eyes.
"Dude, what the fuck are you doing in my house?"

"I stayed the night after bringing your wasted ass back home"

" I appreciate that," Caden said as I remained motionless, listening to them speak. Arderas approaches me and locks his gaze on Caden. My heart begins to pound as I gaze admiringly at Arderas.

Arderas gives me a faint grin as he looks around the table. He ran his fingers through my hair, ruffling it.
"Good morning, little one,"

He reply, wincing slightly as Arderas walks around the table and sits besides my brother.

"Would you like a cup of coffee or a cup of tea?" I inquired uncomfortably. Arderas looks at me with his brows lifted, then nods his head no. I sat down across from them with a nod of my head.

Caden claims, "Bro, my head kills me."

"Same man, I don't recall anything from last night," Arderas responded, raising my brows in response to his words. I'm noticing a modest decline in my heart rate.

He has no recollection of anything?

"You have no recollection of anything?" Arderas looks at me with a serious expression on his face and nods his head no when I question him.
"Is there nothing at all?"

"Did I say or do something that was embarrassing?" Arderas asked, apparently having no recollection of what transpired the night before. My shoulders begin to sink as I look down. I took a bite out of a slice of bacon.

"No..." I sadly answered.

"Okay, hurry up. If we don't go immediately, we'll be late for school." Caden said.

"Let's all go together; I'll drive." Arderas suggested.

Caden responds enthusiastically, "Sweet."

"I'll ride my bike," I responded, attempting to escape Arderas. I heard my brother laughing at me and pointing his finger at me all of a sudden.

"Your bike?" In between, he laughs. My cheeks were flushed with humiliation.

"Yes?" I asked, my voice trembling.

"You don't ride your bike at all. When was the last time you did something like that?"

"I always ride my bike, Caden,"

"Sure, sure, yes. That's why you're so fat "Caden chuckles quietly. I kept my mouth shut. I'm getting a prickling sensation in my eyes.

I immediately rose to my feet.
" You're an asshole, and I hate you!!"

I stormed out of the dining room, yelling violently at him. I rushed up to the entryway, putting on my shoes, and overhearing Arderas and Caden discussing.

"What, she's my sister?"

"Not cool, man."

"I'm free to make jokes about her whenever I want"

"Sure, make jokes with her, but not about her body. That's not cool, man" Arderas muttered something that I overheard. I gathered my belongings, including my jacket and bag, and walked out the door. I cried to myself as I slammed the door behind me.

When I saw my bike, I tightened my backpack straps and charged ahead. I can't believe he made such a snide remark about me in front of Arderas. I've never felt so embarrassed in my life, and I despise it.

" Meltem!" When I heard Arderas calling out for me, I came to a complete halt and turned around. Observing him close the door and put on his jacket.After that, he rushes over to me.
"Hold on!"
He yells and sprints towards me, stopping when he gets near enough.He sighs heavily and pants softly at me.
"Come on, I'll take you to school," he said, holding my hand in his. I grimaced and snatched it from his grasp.

"No, because I'm overweight, I won't be able to fit in your car, remember?" I murmured this as my eyes began to water. I turned around, sniffed quietly, and wiped away a tear.

He places his hands around my wrists and turns me around again.
"We both know your brother is a moron, and you are not fat. Well, not in my eyes "He stated this with a smile on his face as he looked down at me.

"Come on, let me drive you to school."

"I'm not going to ride in the same car as my brother,"

" We're not taking him with us. He can ride the bike, but I think he needs it more "I laughed, then covered my mouth and stared at him. Arderas chuckles and shrugs his shoulders with me.

We arrived at school, exited his car, and walked towards the school building. Caden's agonizing groans and cries were audible all of a sudden.
"Fuck you Arderas," Caden exclaimed tiredly as he rode his bike over to us and braked. He pants a lot.
"I'm exhausted."

"Mhm, when was the last time you rode your bike?" I inquired, crossing my arms in front of him. Caden's face falls as he jumps off the bike.

Caden muttered, attempting to get away from me, "I don't remember."

I give him a smirk while nodding my head.
"Well, you should keep riding the bike and lose some weight," I told him, referring to the way he made fun of my weight. I shook my head lightly and rolled my gaze away from him.

" Meltem, I'm sorry," he said as he walked up to me and put his arm around my shoulder.

"You embarrassed me," I said quietly.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

"Whatever," I retorted angrily.

" Arderas!" When I heard a girl's voice scream out his name, I frowned and turned around to see Lia running slowly towards us. She blocks my path, forcing me to walk away from Arderas. While her back was now facing me, I gave her a foul look. Caden pulls me away from them, wanting us to leave so they can have their space.I was watching them talk and saw Lia laughing when she abruptly cupped his cheeks and kissed him. I let out a small gasp, widening my eyes in awe of what I'm witnessing. My eyes immediately began to water.

Lia breaks away and looks around till she notices us because Arderas doesn't seem to kiss her back.
" Caden!"

We came to a halt, and Caden returns a puzzled face at Lia. Lia walks over to us, taking Arderas' hand in hers.
" Okay, so I'm hosting my birthday party at my house, and you and Arderas are of course invited."

" Yeah mad, I'm down," Caden responded immediately. I lowered my head, clutching my fingers tightly. I raise my head, my gaze falling on Arderas, who was also looking down. He seemed to be uninterested.

Lia gives me a smirk as she looks across at me.
" This little chubby bubby can come along too,"

" No" Arderas and Caden both replied at the same time, causing my brother to give Arderas a questioning look. Arderas' jaw clenches as he glances aside.

"Um, guys, this is my party, and I invited her"
"What do you think?" She asked, her gaze fixed on me. I chewed on my lower lip, debating whether or not to go.

" Okay," I respond, as Caden grabs my upper arm and pulls me to him.

Whispered into my ear.
"You're not going, or I'm not going to allow you out of your room." Caden let go of my arm as I nodded my head at him.

I lowered my gaze while tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.
I lied to her, upset that I couldn't go. "Sorry, I can't go; I have homework to finish."

"no. I am serious. You won't feel like an outcast because I have a brother who is your age "I turn to face her as she takes my hand in hers. I turned around to see Arderas staring at Lia and rolling his eyes and shaking his head. His jaw was clenched even tighter. Arderas kicks a rock and begins to walk away.
" Arderas, be patient!"
Lia shrieked at him, then returned her gaze to Caden and me.
"Are you going to come?"
She inquired one more.

I sent a longing gaze at my annoyed brother.
" Sure," I replied.

She claps her hands together and smiles broadly.
"I'll send the information to your brother, and I'll see you two tonight." She smiles as she sprints after Arderas, catching up to him and holding his hand.

I turn to face my brother, who is enraged.
" You're not going"

" Caden, please!"

" I told you not to!" He yelled, making some kids stare at us strangely.
I lowered my head and nodded.
