"April, Chief wants to see you now in her cabin"... a colleague of April informed him

"yes... Thanks"... He went to the Chief's office.

"May I come in Chief?"... He asked knocking on her door

"Yes, April, come in"... she answered.

"Chief, you asked for me?"... asked April

"Yes... that's... April are you free tomorrow?"... she asked shyly, flushed.

"hmm?"... April was perplexed. 

Huh!... "I'm sorry, that was a stupid question right?... sorry"... she was so embarrassed

haha... 'a little, 'cause I will be here only, working then after work I will be with Violet"... April replied

"It's just ... I wanted to ask you on a date with me tomorrow"... she said blushing a little

April smiled warmly; "How about we go for lunch together tomorrow?" he asked

huh!... "why didn't think about that?... Ok then let's go on lunch"... She smiled softly

"Yes, Chief"... April replied

After his work, he relaxed on his sofa at home. He thought about his chief, Fiona's proposal. 

'I have never thought of being with someone. I think it was because of my fear. Maybe being with someone else will be helpful, to avoid Jorden, and also Puppy will be happy. He can't do anything to me or puppy if I have a mate. Chief is a kind and lovely lady. She helped me in so many ways. Even if she is a beta, we can work things up. what am I thinking?... we need to get to know each other first... let's date first...

The next day morning, April got ready for a date with Fiona and he dropped Violet in her pre-school.

"Puppy, drink your water, eat your food, don't sleep in class, and don't bully other kids ok?"... He was fixing her neck bow.

Later that day, April and Fiona went to a famous restaurant.

"Chief, you look gorgeous in this dress, I think the yellow color suits you"... He complimented Fiona

"It's my first visiting a big restaurant like this"... April admired the luxurious restaurant

"Thanks and I'm sorry for making a reservation without informing you"... Fiona stated

"It's ok Chief, next time let me treat you"... April answered with a smile.

"sure, and please drop the 'Chief' outside the office, and call me Fiona"... she asked flushed

hmm... "yes"... April replied

They were escorted by a waitress to their reserved seat. The seats of that restaurant were dived by a screen to ensure the privacy of customers. 

"It's good right, we will get more privacy and this ambiance is soothing"... she said while looking around her

"yes, I was going to tell you that"... April agreed

They began talking about themself and eating food. Then,

"What the fuck do you think you are claiming?... I'm an honest businessman... I never did anything to your company. don't get out there randomly accusing innocent gentlemen"... A harsh and loud voice echoed thought-out that floor.

April and Fiona were shocked to hear that all of the sudden. It came from the table behind them.

"I think there is a fight"... she said...

"Yes"... April replied

Then he heard a familiar voice... "Mr. xxx please calm down, and we didn't accuse you without enough evidence. We know all about your illegal relations with the xxx gang and you used it against our company"... 

"Evan?"... April said to himself... "Excuse me, Fiona, I think I just heard my friend's sound"... April stood up and looked back. It was Evan. When April was about to call him, that man he was arguing with poured a glass of water at Evan.

Huh!... "Evan are you ok?"... April rushed there... 

"April?... why are you here?... shit"... Evan looked shocked at April and looked back to the seat beside's him gulping. 

April couldn't understand Evan's action. Then,

"Senior?"... that voice he tried hard to forget for years, resonated in his ear once again... 

April stood there frozen and astonished .....
