Ouch?

Midnight approached and everyone had gone to sleep for the day much like myself. 

Yet something seemed to keep me awake, it was above me and I have no clue of knowing whatever it may be. So I lifted myself with the side bars of my crib and sat up as I saw a book right in front of me. 

It was large, much like the Textbook of Magic, although its writing was different but somehow understandable. 

Nothing related to my old life, just what type of writing is this?

The writing was too familiar and I've never once actually laid my eyes on it. It wasn't even a part of the Man-god language. I examined each page and saw weird hand signs and strange patterns and use of power. 

Someone was telling me something over this as it furthered on to say more. 

A note came to appear right after as the book vanished within sight and the note held my main language in this body. 

[When you're ready, come to the high mountains. There I will reveal everything] 

The note turned to ashes as a breeze blew them away with my young body still unable to journey too far. 

I began to question the identity of this person, as they know of me and seem to think I am capable of roaming the world as I want. 

I'm just an infant kid barely able to keep my legs straight!

Well since I'm awake now, perhaps a little experiment may subdue my greedy need for magic. 

I extended both of my hands as I imagined some sort of life force. It could be my own or someone else's entirely. 

I motioned both hands to form a circle and brought them into the center and motioned a star with a square shape added alongside some scribbled writing done with my finger. 

Widening my eyes, the expected had happened. It was a shield that could've been made with almost any other form of magic, yet I discovered this type of magic to be more superior in defense. 

Arcane magic.

It was like some kind of matter rather than a regular natural resource. The color it emitted was gold and the sounds that came with it sounded like metal despite its mythical look. 

It was like something out of a movie. If my understanding is correct, this type of magic can basically create anything just like portals and so on!

Where was the book again, didn't mother have it stacked somewhere in the office?

My primary mission as of now, is to get that Arcane Magic Guidebook. In order to advance immediately in the arcane arts.

I was too skeptical, the height between me and my target was too great. It was above a desk and sure I'd be able to obtain it by merely climbing the chair. However, I am still incapable of climbing such large things!

I barely even spoke my first words to mother, and every morning it's the same thing over and over again!

"Come here Viole, say it with me. Mamaaa."

What a terrifying thing to deal with at this age. 

"Guess we've arrived."

A voice, not my own but of another individual. Not in the house as I would've heard their voice but this was no mere voice. I heard it in my mind. 

That must've been impossible right, there's no such thing like reading minds from afar or something identical?

"Wonder how Viole looks?"

I looked outside of the window and saw a carriage stop right in front of our home as multiple kids and women came down. What caught my attention was one of them that had been missing an arm. 

Father was outside and he quickly ran to him worried as the boy only smiled and calmed his emotions. Mother grabbed me and walked me outside as the others turned and took a quick look at me. 

"A girl is it?"

A woman came abruptly next to us exclaiming me as a female despite several bodily male parts. Mother only giggled and said nothing as two other women came forward. 

"Doesn't seem too bad, perhaps I should dress her up more feminine. Her mother doesn't have good taste in dressing."

Again with that voice. 

The children came forwards to get a glimpse as embarrassment grew on me due to the amount of eyes placed on me. This has never ever happened before. 

"Alright! Viole, this is my first wife Rokari, second wife Lily and third wife Zenia! Then they are your siblings, from Rokari, Alphonse, Talia, Lara and Vile! From Lily, Lilian, Juole, and Elric. From Zenia, Grinerva, Luke, and Tievel. Then there is you from my fourth wife, aren't you proud?!"

Such a large family, I knew something like this would occur but it's still too much to hold. 

The first children, six years old, Alphonse, Lilian and Grinerva. The second bunch, five years old, Luke, Talia and Juole. The third part, three years old, Tievel, Elric, and the twins Lara and Vile. Lastly, me.

Hmm?

Vile, somehow I feel odd about this one. 

"She's looking at me?"

Huh, hold on what?

It's her voice, that's strange, wait what?

This is so confusing, her voice is the one I hear so much in my head? Can she talk, I need to somehow confirm this?

I reached out to her, to get some sort of reaction from them. She approached to heed my call and hold on my cheeks as a smile formed on their face. 

"Cute."
