I arrive at school and I am immediately met with K. I just say yeah and sure every now and then as we walk to class. I want to sleep. That’s what I’m gonna do. Sleep and do my work later. I sit down in my chair, quickly do the bell ringer and lay my head down. I am woke up at the end of class. “C’mon dude, time to go.” K says as she walks past me and heads out the door. 

Second period goes by slowly and that is only because I am not a huge fan of second period. Mr. Brown is just a rude guy and I just don’t like his teaching style. I do my work at least. It’s better than some of the students that I know.  I do his work as fast as possible, yet with the least amount of effort. I hate this man, he just sucks. The bell for second lunch rings, meaning I am about to meet my end. I love K, but sometimes I wish she wasn’t so forward. I meet K at my locker per usual and I see K is standing there with the guy from yesterday. I sigh before walking up to them. “Hey K, who is this?” I ask opening my locker. I quickly transfer my stuff and grab my lunch. I close my locker door as she is introducing me to him. “Theo, this is Alex. Alex, this is Theo.” K says smiling. “Nice to meet you. I hear you are in band and like weight lifting?” Alex said, switching his feet. I nod my head and we begin walking to the cafeteria. They go through the lunch line while I go to our table. Okay Theo you got this. You are brave. I sighed, opening my lunchbox and getting out my water. I took a few sips before K and Alex were beginning to make their way over.
