Friends... Friends huh? Maybe it won't hurt to have one.

I met someone on my home from work. She looks dazzling under the moonlight and easily get embarrassed. Her name is Ysabelle Bailey and she's the same age as me. I don't believe in destiny. Someone said that wherever we are in life is because of our choices. From meeting someone to our position in life, all of that stems from the choices we chose but this makes me wonder. Is it destiny that made me meet Ysabelle or is it because of my choice?

I composed myself. Take a deep breath, and exhale, take a deep breath and exhale. Okay, I think I'm ready. For some reason I'm nervous. Is it because I'm happy that I met someone that I can be friends with? Or is it because I have someone to talk with?

"I'll appreciate it if you do, Ysabelle."

"*Gasp*"

Ysabelle seems excited about making friends. It's so nice to see someone happy, as if it's a disease, seeing someone happy makes you happy too. With that, I made my first friend, though there's still something I want to ask.

"Ysabelle."

"Y-Yes?!"

"D-do you think that I, uhmmm..."

"Hmmm?"

"D-do you think I could be friends with your friend that you're meeting tonight."

"Uhmmmmm.... Eh, about that..."

After I asked her that, she immediately become down. Maybe I shouldn't have said that.

"..."

"S-sorry, I shouldn't have asked you that..."

"N-no it's fine really. It's just that, it's sad that you wouldn't be able meet her."

"I-is there something wrong?"

Wouldn't be able to meet her, I wonder why. I hope there's nothing wrong with both of them.

"Then I guess it's time to go."

"Huh, but how about your friend?"

"About that... please forgive me, but I lied. I'm not meeting someone."

I wonder why she had to lie to me. Maybe she has her own reasons? Ysabelle Bailey, what a mysterious person. But for some reason, I kind of understand why she has to do that.

"I see, then let me walk you home. It's already evening and it might be bad if something happens to you."

"Y-you will not ask why I lied to you?"

"Everyone has their reasons. To be honest, I find it a little bit suspicious to meet someone in evening but I believe you too, has reasons why you have to lie. Don't worry, I'll not stick my nose where it shouldn't be."

"T-thank you Nathan..."

"Then let's go, I'll walk you home."

"I-It's fine! You don't have to. I would feel bad if I made you do that after I made you sit with me and even lying to you."

"I don't really mind."

"D-Don't worry about me, my house is just near. I live in Violet Village.

Violet Village, just like Burton Village, is only a few minutes away from here. It's located south west from the Plaza. If that's the case, then I guess it should be fine.

"I-I see, then good night Ysabelle. See you whenever we could."

"Uh-uhmm, where do you live Nathan?"

"I live in Edward Village."

"I-It's not far, that's nice to hear."

"Y-yes."

"T-then, see you Nathan. Thank you for taking the time to talk to me."

"Thank you too, Ysabelle."
