As the indigo chimera, who happens to be named Indigo, carried Sai to an unknown fate (actually you probably will know it by the end of this chapter) at rapid speeds, Sai thought to herself, Oh no, where am I going?? Am I going to die? Wait, I can't visit die, it isn't a place! Unless, of course, you were talking about a die, as in dice singular. Wait, is someone reading my mind? Why am I thinking to myself? Who is there?? WHOOOO!?!!/!/!!1/! Nah, I'm thinking too hard; nobody's there!
By the time that the long, confusing thought had been thought, Indigo was already pausing to angle herself into a lonely tree. "You'll make a lovely meal for my lovely Clay!" the intimidating chimera spoke. She dropped Sai in midair, to grab her with a third talon- wait, wHAT?? A THIRD TALON?!??! is probably what you're thinking. If you didn't know already, chimeras, as in my species I made, can do certain things based off of their core. If you saw the project on chimeras that I linked in the other chapter, you probably understand. If not, go to it right this instant here's the link https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/662773845/
So yeah
She dropped Sai in midair, to grab her with a third talon, which had sprouted right above her right shoulder. She used her remaining two to balance on a branch of the lonely tree, in which lived Indigo herself, as well as the tiny, cyan figure of Clay.
"Let her go mom," the small chimera spoke in an American accent.
"Fiiiiine," her mom spoke in a rather snooty voice.
Sai, being that kind of cat, was confused. Like always. e
And thus Indigo basically did what she had done in reverse; transferring Sai to her actual talons, making her third one disappear, soaring back towards where she had picked her up to eat her, and dropped her off right there. Sai laid there, dumbfounded, and Aranja stared up at Indigo in confusion, also wariness.
"I'll be back..." the menacing chimera spoke. Without another word she took off, careful not to crash into another tree.
