P.O.V. Allen Tyler
It's been almost three years since I was born. Aside from my understanding, I've made significant progress in developing my Mana Foundation. These millions of fragments of an apparently limitless sphere were extremely difficult to put together exactly near to my solar plexus during the years I've been working on it constantly.
Personally, I believe I am far more gifted than I am supposed to be thanks to the gods; Well, it is now clear to me why such a small fraction of individuals are mages, and even if they are, they manifest the Foundation so late. These particles appear to be too 'substantial,' as though they refused to move.
I'm taller than the usual 2-3 year old human, for the amount of Martial arts I'm training in secret.
Maybe it's because of my unique physical abilities that I never get weary while manifesting my Foundation.
I almost forgot to explain this. First and foremost, magic can be divided into three kinds.
Attack Magic, Support Magic, and Summoning Magic are the three types of magic.
These are vastly different from my previous existence. In my old world there these all three types of magic into a single category called, Magi Arts or simply Magic.
Aside from that, there were Martial Arts and Immortal Arts along with my founding the Spirit Arts too.
While there are different applications for magic in this planet, according to the guidebook, magic was first devised for battle. Aside from battle and hunting, it is still rarely utilized.
To begin with, in order to use magic, you must have mana, which can be awakened as we manifesting a Mana Foundation. However, it is commonly referred to as the Mana core.
Alternatively, as long as you have mana, you can use magic.
Mana can be used in two ways.
Using mana to enhance the Physique, allowing them to have tremendous strength, defence, and agility. Their downside, though, is their restricted range. This approach is known as Enhancing, and the users are all referred to as Enhancers.
Another option is to emit mana into the surrounding environment, allowing one to influence their surroundings to their desire while holding unfathomable powers. Their drawback is that they must replenish their own mana core with mana from the outside world in order to cast spells in their surrounds. This method is known as Castings, and the users are all known as Casters.
A long time ago, individuals used just their mana to do magic; as generations passed, magic was researched, the difficulty increased, and the amount of mana required climbed dramatically.
This was acceptable for those with a lot of mana, but those with less mana couldn't employ such magic.
As a result, magicians in the past devised methods to draw mana from other sources in order to fulfil the criteria of the magic.
Magic can be performed in two ways.
The simplest and most common approach is called Incantations, and there is a rare method that only a few individuals in the world can perform, which is Incantation-less.
While incantation is currently the custom, some old magicians employ magic arrays on a rare occasion. While, as I previously stated, just a few people in the world can perform Incantation-less magic, which is completely antithetical to Incantation Magic.
In the distant past, the simplest incantation took roughly one to two minutes to complete.
It wasn't lengthy, but this strategy was extremely tough to employ in battle.
A magic array, on the other hand, could be utilized repeatedly once it was drawn.
A certain magician was effective in shortening the invocation time. As a result, incantation became the norm.
Because the simplest incantations took roughly five seconds, basic magic attacks might be utilized in conjunction with incantation.
However, unless the situation is critical, sophisticated magic spells are still performed using magic arrays.
Essentially, everyone is a Warrior or an Adventurer by trade. Just speaking that term makes me feel like there's been a shift, despite the fact that I've murdered numerous Heroes in the past...hehe!
The amount of mana one possesses, tends to increase when the user employs his mana core or mana Foundation.
At the very beginning, the mana core is black. Many bio-dynamic fluids adhere to it and combine with intracellular Mana particles as it forms, giving the Core its black appearance.
These fluids are filtered over time, and Mana Core acquires its first formal stage: Red.
The hue of a mage's Mana Core determines his/her power. Black is the weakest, and White is the strongest.
The colours are in the following order: black, red, orange, yellow, silver, and white.
Every stage has three 'levels,' which are also indicators of might, albeit on a much smaller scale. These 'levels' represent the brightness of the individual stage, which can be Dark, Solid, or Light, depending on the user's power.
To put it simply, the lighter the core is - the stronger the user is.
However, I believe my Foundation has a lot of potential, so I'll have to plan my future around that.
To think...Using Martial Arts, Magic, Immortal Arts, and Spirit Arts all at once...it will be more powerful than any great mages this world has ever seen.
So, thinking this...I went to our backyard to avoid damaging the spot where I trained covertly for three years from my father and mother.
When I stepped outside, my father was practicing his muscular, strong body by waving his sword in accordance with the procedures.
Because dad was so focused, I quickly bypassed him quietly. After arriving, I sat in the midst of a large backyard in my favorite meditating stance and began gravitating toward one of the few pieces that remained.
