It's been a few weeks since I initiated my mana awakening boom.
Of course, we repaired the house and the backyard to its original state.
However, I apologized to my parents, who did not respond, but instead grinned and planned for my future.
These last few weeks flew by in a haze.
My parents recently dropped an unexpected bomb on me. My mother is apparently a Yellow Core mage as well as a retired adventurer with my father and his party? That was very surprising.
Since my mother still had some connections in the Adventurer Guild, she managed to acquire a pretty wide collection of books on basic mana manipulation, as well as fighting with different weapons.
Some were simply picture books with simple language and largely illustrations of how mana was distilled, but I ignored them. My mother gave me an odd look since the books I was reading were on a higher level. She assumed I wouldn't be able to grasp much of the words in there and attempted to persuade me to read some of the simpler literature, claiming they would be easier to understand, but she eventually gave in.
While recently, my father taught me the fundamentals of Enhancing and Weaponry, as well as how to begin training in it as best he could. With all of his lively explanations, it was easy to understand. I was overjoyed to have such a father. My mother was also involved in my studies, since she was instructing me in Casting and Mana Manipulation. Learning from such a seasoned mages is much simpler than I could have thought.
However, most of the classes were easy, as I used to be a Arch Demon wizard who even killed off the gods before! hehe!
Well, I'm not going to slack off because of it! of course. They both continue to train me mentally and physically, and they always compliment me for my exceptional talents, not just in mana manipulation but also in physical fields.
Of course, I haven't stopped reading the books my mother gave me, which was kept in the newly built library.
My day consisted of training, reading, and occasionally playing with my friends in town.
When I wasn't attending either of these lessons or playing outside, I was usually locked myself up in the freshly renovated library, reading and meditating to further condense my mana core.
It didn't take long for my father to recognize me as skilled at sparring.
He purchased me a new wooden sword because the previous one was destroyed in the explosion and started teaching me proper techniques and footwork.
...
"Hey,Al! come over here!" My father called me, while holding a large stick in his hand.
When I heard him, I approached him as I was saying, "You called me, dad?" with an adorable smile.
"We've already begun to explore of upgrading and Sword mastery for these times. Now, if you don't break this stick I'm holding with a single slice, I'm not going to teach you any more. Not until you attain this achievement.." With a challenging smile, my father said.
