After a year of nothing happening outside of my normal schedule, my father spoke up one night over my mother at dinner table, while I was already went to sleep.
"Honey, I believe it is past time for us to find Al a proper mentor! or...Sending him to Reorus! may be!"
As my mother slid the fork upon her dish, as she was cleaning the table, a *clang* broke the silence.
"What? Eddie! Allen is only five years old! No! Besides, you said you'd be able to train our son if he was an enchanter!" Mother spoke in a desperate tone.
"I also didn't expect our son to be such a prodigy in mana manipulation. Who has ever heard of a three-year-old awakening?" Father was much more composed in his response.
"So you've already made up your mind?" My mother stated this as she gazed at my father, her eyes filled with sadness.
My father breathed a sigh of relief. "Our son is exceptional, Chloe. I can't keep on training him with my Skills, even though I have been trained from my childhood, My son should discover his skills on his own, not by pressurizing him to protect the Kingdom..haha!. How can this be deemed challenging for the benefit of our son? After all! We should also think about who we genuinely are, right?"
"But if it's like that, who knows how long it'll be until we see our son again, and...what if he's caught?" my mother remarked, her eyes welling up with tears.
My father said, "If only Al was an ordinary child… Then he'd be able to enjoy a normal and happy life. However, neither our son nor ourselves are ordinary. On the contrary, he is exceptional. If he had proper guidance, he might have grow on to become a great warrior or a Mage. Then he would undoubtedly be able to advance even further on his path and achieve great things!...you know what I mean!"
"You know...the merchants and Adventures in the guild said Al has a determined personality and is significantly more mature than his contemporaries. He's also naturally gifted in combat and magic. Heck! I've never seen a young boy...emitting the aura of an Unrivaled King who has won wars in his entire existence!, hu! Anyway...As long as Al continues to master magic and other things, he will undoubtedly outperform...Any supreme Mages or ultimate warriors in the future. Think about it!"
"So, as his father, I've already prepared him for these five years by teaching him everything I know. So, these years of peace, It's now our son's turn...I've determined that Allen should embark on his own journey...to forge his own path! As our son!" With a stern tone and a confident smile, my father said.
"Well...as long as our baby is safe that is..!" My mother gave of a smile of sadness, as she considered the things my fathers said.
"Mm!" My father gave of a nod, with a smile as they the both embraced with tears in their eyes.
