Even though I had a map to guide me, this was still...the first time I'd journeyed since my reincarnation and I'd left the house. As a result, I couldn't help but get lost a few times hehe!, and I had to rely on the assistance of others to discover the correct route to my goal.
To put it shortly, my father and mother ordered me on a voyage across the Glade Mountains to the Thysalen Kingdom, or more precisely...the Elven Kingdom.
Haha...I don't know why but..it seems, My mother has somebody she knows there called Cyran Elriel. And I even promised to send letters during my time there! huh!.
Well, lets see how it goes....but, I've been walking for six days now, being carefully inspecting the paper map in my hands, and then looking in the direction where the trees by the side pointed...haha! When will I get there!...Its so exciting!
However, no time to worry, I should be careful of the surrounding, as my father said there are a lot f beasts here! So my parents gave me a traditional dagger. It's razor-sharp...and it appears that mana can be employed to sharpen the sword even more.
As I strolled into the woods by the route, I wiped the sweat from my forehead. As soon as I sat down in the shade of a tree, intending to meditate and recover my Mana, the sound of flowing water suddenly began to reverberate through the air. This sound made me leap up and down in delight.
What do you expect? Even though I was a Demon, I like bathing in baths in my house...and I'm hoping to bathe in a river today! I became excited.
The presence of water indicated that I could change my way of life...means cleanse myself!
I promptly closed my eyes and listened intently for the source of the water. As someone with spirit arts, I employed my mana throughout all my six senses, which made me far stronger in sensing, than a normal person's senses.
This was most noticeable when I closed my eyes. When I closed my eyes, the intensity of my other five senses increased noticeably.
I immediately determined where the sound of water was coming from and moved cautiously through the forest.
I was being cautious, not because the ground in the forest was uneven, but because I was afraid that the thickets in the forest might tear my garments. I don't want my body to start bleeding already!
I arrived at my destination without walking more than two hundred metres, which turned out to be a small stream about three metres wide. The chilly water within was so clear that I could see all the way to the bottom, and it felt both restful and invigorating.
"AHH! Yayyy!"
I gave out a delighted cheer, quickly stripped naked, and plunged into the stream, which wasn't even two feet deep. The last time I'd had a bath was two days ago, in a nearby lake.
That lake, I believe, was also a branch of this river. But that's okay! I believe the Glade Mountains have much more to offer! hahah!
"hh!"
My body had been coated in perspiration from the past two days of travel, and having a bath in this cold and clean water was simply a luxury that couldn't be more calming.
When I walked out of the water after completely bathing, a brilliant feeling flooded my entire body. I reasoned inwardly, "Since I've already arrived at the Glade Forest, I'll just take a pleasant rest here!"
