This is a Yellow Earth Lizard!!

It was around...three-meter-long brown lizard, with a brown body. It also had a little projection on its forehead that resembled a horn.

Aside from the excitement of fighting a Beast, a serious expression emerged on my face. Even though I was a fighting expert, it would be difficult for me to effortlessly defeat a....uh! Oh, the horns! It's...bursting it's at the seams with mana.....with such power, it must be....what the hell!! It's a D-Rank Magic beast?

Well, It is probable that I will win...but....what should I do?

But....I'm determined to fight it! Haha! It's so exciting!!!

I let out an intense roar, causing my Phantom blade to flicker beneath the intense undulations of my mana condensing, as I rushed into attack.

I flashed as I charged forward in an instant. The Yellow Earth Lizard stared at me as it spewed fire at me.

"Ahhhh!"

I took a quick swipe at the Yellow Earth Lizard, removing both its throat and vertebral artery. A stream of blood erupted from its neck as soon as I landed behind it.

Woah! I never imagined....that the Immortal art could cut through a sturdy body at only a king rank with my mana supplement!

But it wasn't actual blood that circulated.... It was the mana essence of the Yellow Earth Lizard. It simply...converted into Mana, and the mana was absorbed by the Dragon-symbolized crest on the back of my right hand's palm.

Well, I never thought that...a Contract Crest would observe mana! I've never read it in a book, either!

To begin with, when a person and a magic beast enter into a contract, the Beast Crest or the Contract Crest will b manifested on the master's body, symbolizing the true companionship.

So, what did the little black snake do to my body, was entering into a contract with me and becoming my Beast Companion. But I'm not sure why the Little Black Snake compacted an egg and got inside it after making a contract with me.

Well, I expected it to gather inside my mana core!

Oh well! Let's wait and watch what transpires when the little guy awakens.

A couple more days had passed rather uneventfully when I was suddenly afflicted with severe abdominal aches. The first symptoms appeared on the third day of the journey.

When a sharp discomfort spread from my sternum.

It vanished quickly, but even that brief time sent shivers down my spine.

I don't know what was happening, but I knew that this had something to do with the Beast crest.

Well, aside from that, the most thrilling occurrence was when a couple of wolves tried to approach me, but a strike of my father's mana-reinforced dagger scared them away.

Nights passed as I slept in the tent or under a tree.

I pushed on with only a few small pauses to relax and replenish my stomach for the rest of the day.

The constant use of mana rotation had kept my body from straining, but it was clear that I was bored out of my mind, so I continued going towards the Thysalen, hoping to get something interesting.
