Each one on its leash

Each and every monster

Is a different kind of beast

I have almost tamed them

I think I've almost trained them

And you must know that I've named them

My collection's quite complete

It's not safe to display them

Like I said I've not quite trained them

They can cause a lot of mayhem

When allowed to roam freely

They will bite the hand that feeds them

If I've failed to please them

While I know I need them

They surely don't need me

I love them and I hate them

Never to forsake them

I will always claim them
