Last night, I dreamt I was in a meadow with lush long green grass, I was sitting under the only tree that the eyes can see, reading a book I'm not sure what one. Then a hand reached for the book that was in my hands and took it. I looked towards the direction the hand went. There was a handsome, well-built man. His eyes were soft, but bold spreading into waves of deep blues and greens. His lashes fluttered over emerald green eyes, which swirled into dark blues as I stayed. His hair was a chestnut brown and in the style of textured pompadour fade. Just my type I thought. But then a loud ringing noise suddenly worked me up. It was my alarm.
I got out of bed and walked over to the window, reflecting on my magical surroundings. I had always loved the beautiful scenery of Cotter tree with its magical wind blowing through the leaves of the trees. It was a place that made all my worries disappear. I walked towards the kitchen to make myself a cuppa. I can never start a day without one. I sat down at my small rounded table. That was next to a window. I was watching the tree swing in the wind. Then I saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was a tall muscle figure similar to the man I dreamt about. As the man came closer I realised who it was, It was Carter Wilson.
I gulped, and glanced at my reflection. I was a popular, cute, tea drinker with a skinny frame and pretty face. My friends saw me as a lonely, leaking lover with a big heart. Once, I had even helped a lost toddler cross the road, to find their mother. I was not prepared for what Carter had in-store today, It has to be something to do with work. I thought we were done with working together. The sun shone like singing birds, making it sparkly. I grabbed my bag that had been on the chair nearby. I looked through, and got my crystal that my grandmother once gave me. It was something I played with through my fingers whenever I was worried.
I walked towards the door and opened it. As I stepped outside, Carter came closer, he had a mischief glint in his eyes. Carter glared with all the wrath of a brave angry wolf. He said, in hushed tones, “I got a note from the boss. I don't know why I have to give it to you.” The two looked at each other with uneasiness, like two shattered bears contemplating a proud thought, with a thoughtless accident running through a forest, like somebody was chasing them, which sounded like elemental music playing in the background and two angry wild beasts running to the beat.
I regarded Carter's handsome face. "I feel the same way" revealed Ivan with a sad-looking grin. Carter looked angry, his emotions blushing like a bright flame, burning wild. I pretend to take an instant dislike to Carter and his cold-blooded and rude ways. Carter glared at me and passed the note to me. "Just read it, you unintelligent swine" Carter murmured, as he walked away. I stare at him with anger, but let it brush over my head. So I looked down at my hand that was holding the note for a moment and then started to read it.
The note stated;
'Ivan, meet at the usual place at 10pm.'
"What does the boss want? What could it be? Is it a new mission already?" I stammered questioning it.
