Savannah looked around the Common room of the palace. Sir Williams had asked her to sit and wait while he went to go get her sisters.
Savannah wore a long sleeved green shirt with a cream colored skirt that went down to her knees and black slip on shoes. Her brown hair was held up in a tight ponytail.
Savannah’s green eyes glanced from object to object as she waited for her sisters’ arrival. There was a bookshelf built into the wall that held many books. There was a small table next to the seat Savannah sat in that held a globe of the world. There were many other chairs like the one Savannah was sitting in. Purple velvet with a gold trim and gold armrests.
Savannah had been working for a gardener when Sir Williams found her. She planted all sorts of flowers, fruits, and vegetables. She often went to the local village and sold some of the goods. Life for her had not been bad at all. She had even met a boy. Luke Grand. The gardener’s son. He had blonde hair and brown eyes. Luke was kind, smart, funny, and brave. All the girls at his school liked him. He always helped her with the garden. He was strong, so he could carry sacks of fruits or vegetables and he had a green thumb for plants.
Savannah had to leave Luke behind when Sir Williams found her. Luke had never known she left. He was in school when they found her. Savannah had to leave, but she promised to come back for Luke and give him a proper goodbye.
Savannah’s thoughts were interrupted when Bethany and a boy entered the room. She wore a classic cotton blue dress with a lace trim neckline and bottom with black slip on shoes. The boy had brown hair and wore a classic cotton white collared shirt unbuttoned at the top with brown slacks.
“Savannah!” Bethany cried running over to Savannah while wrapping her arms around her. “I missed you so much!”
“I missed you, too” Savannah said crying into Bethany’s dress.
“Hey, hey,” Bethany said, wiping away Savannah tears. “It’s ok. Wendy is upstairs sleeping.”
Ethan then cleared his throat and said, “Hi, I’m Ethan. You must be Savannah,” Ethan said with a smile.
“It’s nice to meet you,” Savannah said, remembering her manners. “Sis, who is he?” Savannah then looked Ethan up and down.
“He is my fiance,” Bethany said with a smile.
“You're engaged!” Savannah said in shock. Bethany nodded.
“It is wonderful to meet you too, Savannah,” Ethan said with a laugh.
"Congratulations! I'm happy for you", Savannah said, smiling.
"Thank you. That means a lot to me. I hope you will get to know Ethan better. He is important to me and I want the both of you to know each other better before we get married. Wendy is already close to him," Bethany said.
"I'm sure we will be good friends. I have faith in my sister's taste in guys," Savannah said.
Later, there was a knock on the door.
"Come in," Bethany said.
Wendy then opened the door and rubbed her eyes. What are you guys doing here?" Wendy finished rubbing her eyes and opened them. Wendy's face then lit up. "Savannah!" Wendy said, running into Savannah's arms.
"Wendy!" Savannah said, hugging her back. "I missed you so much!"
"I missed you too! Now all we need to do is find Rayn," Wendy said with a big smile.
