“Where do you want the flowers to go?” Isabella asked, holding a bouquet of daisies in her hands.
“In that vase on that table,” Natalie instructed, pointing to a picnic table made of wood under a huge oakwood tree. “That will be the bride and groom’s table.”
Isabella walked over to the table and placed the flowers in a small, long, white vase.
“Jay and Griffin, you guys can put the food on that table,” Natalie said, pointing at a long old science lab table sitting just a few feet away from the bride and groom’s table.
“Sounds good. We’ll start putting the food on it,” Griffin said with a thumbs up.
“After you're finished, Jay, can you please check on our bride? The ceremony will begin in thirty minutes,” Natalie said.
“Yes ma’am,” Jay said with a nodd.
Natalie turned to face Oliver, who sat in a wheelchair right beside her.
“What do you think?” Natalie asked.
“I think it looks fantastic. You did a great job,” Oliver said with a smile.
Natalie bent down and kissed Oliver on the cheek.
“Thank you,” Natalie said.
“You’re welcome. I’m just stating facts,” Oliver said, still smiling.
Oliver then leaned in to kiss Natalie.
Natalie pulled away and cupped her hands over Oliver’s chin.
“That will never get old,” Oliver said with a big smile.
Oliver kissed Natalie again.
Jay walked down the long school hallway to the science room, where Cora was getting ready for her wedding.
Jay opened the door and stepped inside.
“It’s just me,” Jay said.
“Hi, Jaylee,” Cora said, turning around to face Jay.
Cora wore her pretty black hair half up and half down. The part that was up, was held in a small bun. The part that was left down, was curled. She wore a simple silk white wedding dress with a big skirt that went down to her feet and stopped, revealing a pair of white slip-on shoes.
“You look gorgeous, Cora,” Jay gushed.
“Thank you,” Cora said with a big smile. She then pulled Jay into a big hug. “I can’t believe we’re going to be sisters. Don’t worry, I promise to treat your brother well. He’s an amazing guy and even better brother and you’re an amazing sister for entrusting him to me.”
“I’m not worried. You guys are perfect for each other. I know you both will be very happy together,” Jay said with a smile, pulling away from Cora’s hug.
Cora smiled.
Everyone took a seat in the old school chairs in front of the patch of wildflowers.
Jackson stood in front of everyone in the front of the middle of the patch of wildflowers.
“Hi everyone. I’ve never been to a wedding before, so I’m not exactly sure how this goes but just bare with me,” Jackson said.
Everyone laughed.
“The wedding can now begin,” Jackson said, turning to face Mateo at the back of the chairs. He gave Mateo a small nod.
Mateo then grabbed a small ukulele and began playing the wedding march.
Noah began to walk down the aisle in the middle of the rows of seats.
Noah wore a simple black and white suit with a black bowtie. He also wore a huge smile as he walked down the aisle.
Following Noah, were Eli and Griffin wearing the same suits as Noah, but without black bow ties.
Noah stood next to Jackson on the right side while Eli and Griffin stood on the right side of Noah.
Jay and Natalie then walked down the aisle together next.
Jay wore a simple flamingo pink short dress with spaghetti straps and white heels. She wore her dirty blonde hair down and curled. Jay wore a big smile across her face as she walked down the aisle holding a small bouquet of daisies in her hands.
Natalie wore a dress that matched Jay’s. She wore her black hair up in a high elegant bun. Natalie wore a big smile across her face as she walked down the aisle holding a small bouquet of daisies in her hands.
Jay and Natalie stood to the left of Jackson, leaving a space between them and him.
Lastly, Cora walked down the aisle holding a large bouquet of daisies in her hands and a huge smile as big as Noah’s.
Cora stood by Jackson.
Mateo stopped playing the wedding march.
“Hello friends. I have been given the honor of joining these two amazing people in holy matrimony,” Jackson said with a big smile, gesturing to Cora and Noah. “Cora Madden and Noah Beckett.”
“Let’s begin with the vows,” Jackson said, turning to face Cora. “Ladies first.”
“Noah, you are the most handsome, smart, kind, funny, caring, and outgoing person I know. I never thought that I could fall in love with someone in a situation like ours, but you proved me wrong and made me fall for you. I promise to be good to you and to always be on your side no matter what. Of course, there will be some days where that can’t really happen…,” Cora said.
Everyone laughed.
“The point is…I love you Noah Beckett with all my heart and I can’t believe I’m going to be the happiest wife in the world,” Cora said, finishing her vows.
Noah shot her a big smile.
“Noah,” Jackson said, turning to face Noah. “It’s now your turn to say your vows.”
“Alright, first let me just say that you look absolutely breathtaking,” Noah said, gushing as he stared at Cora.
Everyone swooned as Cora blushed.
“Thank you. You look pretty handsome yourself,” Cora said with a smile.
“Thank you,” Noah said. “Second, I just wanted to say that you are the most happy, go-lucky, smart, kind hearted, generous, supporting, adorable, and beautiful woman I know. I promise to also love you and stay by your side. I will try my hardest to always be there for you through the good and bad. I can’t wait to wake up and see your beautiful face every morning. I love you Cora Madden.”
Cora started to shed a few tears as she looked into Noah’s eyes and smiled. She quickly wiped them away.
“Now that we have that step out of the way, Cora Madden,” Jackson said, turning to face Cora. “Do you take Noah Beckett to be your lawfully wedded husband, through love and loss, through sickness and health, through the bad and the good, forever and always?”
“I do,” Cora said with a huge smile, staring straight at Noah, who smiled back at her.
“Noah Beckett,” Jackson said, turning to face Noah. “Do you take Cora Madden to be your lawfully wedded wife, through sickness and health, through the good and, through love and loss, forever and always?”
“I sure do,” Noah said with a huge smile, staring right at Cora, who smiled back at him.
“Now the rings,” Jackson said, looking over at Eli.
Eli walked over to Noah and Cora and handed them each a ring.
Cora grabbed Noah’s hand and slipped a large silver wedding ring over Noah’s finger.
“Forever,” Cora said.
Noah then grabbed Cora’s hand and slipped a small simple diamond ring over Cora’s finger.
“And always,” Noah finished, giving Cora a huge smile.
Cora gave a huge smile back.
“I now pronounce you, Mr. and Mrs. Beckett,” Jackson said. “You may kiss the bride.”
“Don’t mind if I do,” Noah said, sweeping Cora into a breathtaking, heart skipping kiss.
“One day, I want to find someone that I love and will make me that happy,” Isabella said, looking through the school gate to the street in front of it.
Jackson turned to look at her.
“Is that so?” Jackson asked, curious.
“Yes,” Isabella said. “My parents always had this amazing heartfelt love like Cora and Noah do. I’ve always wanted it to.”
“Ah,” Jackson said, nodding and turning back to face the gate.
“What about you?” Isabella asked, turning to look at Jackson.
Jackson then turned to face her.
“I’m not sure if I could ever even like someone again, much less love someone,” Jackson said.
“I’m sure you could,” Isabella said. “You just need to find the right person.”
Jackson smiled.
“You’re right,” Jackson said.
