Right above my head, there were two eyes. Staring down at me. I tried to scream, but my mouth was sewed shut.
My next mistake was trying to run away. The monster, that was still staring at me, grabbed me and slammed my whole body to the ground. My vision went black.
When I woke up again I was in a forest. I had no idea how I got there or if what happened before was a dream or reality. I panicked and immediately touched my mouth. I was relieved when I found it in its normal state. But not for long, because I soon came to realize that I didn't have much time until it got dark. I quickly calculated the time with my thumbs. About three hours.
"I should make a shelter for the night." I thought to myself. But when I looked around me there was absolutely nothing that I could use to make a shelter. Not only that, but looking around more, this forest had this weird and uncomfortable aura. The trees all looked the same as if they were just copied and pasted over and over again. Furthermore, there were absolutely no sounds, no birds chirping, no leaves rustling.
I decided to just start walking. Maybe then I'll find something.
I walked and walked and walked.
Nothing.
The more time passed and the more I walked, I started to panic. But just as I wanted to give up, I saw a light. I immediately ran towards it.
When I got closer I saw, it was a small cottage, with a little barn next to it.
I decided to look through the window to see if anyone was there.
I saw nobody. So I went to the barn and opened the door a little, to look inside. It was very dark, so I couldn't see a lot, but what I could see horrified me.
The barn was filled with human parts and blood was splattered everywhere.
For a few seconds, I just stood there. Shocked.
But then it hit me. The person living in that cottage was also the owner of this barn. And they would be coming back soon.
As soon as I realized that, I heard footsteps. I turned around, but I saw no one. I could still hear the footsteps coming closer and closer. I panicked. And in my panic, I just opened the barn door behind me and quickly went inside.
Now I was inside the barn.
I heard the footsteps again, they were coming to this barn. I looked around and quickly went to the nearest corner. I held my breath as the barn door slowly opened. A big, broad man entered. An ax in one hand and a big tree branch in the other. He walked straight to the other side of the barn, to a workbench, and started working on the tree branch.
"This is my chance to get out." I thought. I sneaked to the door, carefully opened it, squeezed myself through the door, and closed it.
But what was I supposed to do now?
1. I could run back into the woods.
2. I could go into the cottage and hide there until morning.
3. I could go into the cottage and get some stuff to defend myself with, and then go back to the woods.
4. I could go into the cottage and get some stuff to defend myself with, and try to kill the man.
Hey! I'm the creator of these stories. I'm just starting, so please let me know if there is some stuff I could change, in my writing, that would make it sound better. :)
"Not too scary scary stories" are little scary stories, which aren't too scary, as the title suggests. After every episode, I (the author) give you two or more choices, that you can choose from and you can write in the comments how the story should go on. But be quick, you only have a few days until I evaluate your comments.
