Foreword:

Hello, I'm GameMaker8YT. The author of this light novel series. This is my first light novel and I apologize in advance for my inexperience. I hope you enjoy. This is the last chapter of volume 1, looking forward to the future volumes.

“Everyone, get in your fucking mind and fight like your life depends on it” Caprio yells. 

Spike fences surrounding the inside, fire torches spreading throughout both floors, cages with captive girls, and the Damon’s surrounding the throne of Lucifer, as Lucifer sat on his throne and Ophelia sitting on his lap. Everyone starts fighting, “Elana and Ash follow me up through the stairs” Caprio says. 

Kurohe wipes the blood off his eyes, “Wade, Riot’s down protect him at all costs” Kurohe screams. Wade runs to riot suddenly 5 Damon’s stand in front of him. 

Wade activates his Umbra Core, his fists start to light up with elemental energy, and his eyes become purple flames. Wade walks up to the Damon’s with his fists clenched. Wade runs up to the first Damon and punches him in the stomach, the Damon coughs out blood, and Wade then punches his face, it comes clean off the Damon’s body. 

Wade kicks the other Damon’s legs, Wade chops off Damon’s arms clean off. Suddenly the other 3 Damons turned into 10 Damons, he took too long to kill the Damons. Wade is getting trampled by Damon’s Kurohe becomes worried. 

“Shit it looks like the other guys are having trouble, I’m going to help them." Elana runs down the stairs, Archers on the second floor’s balcony start firing toward Elana, “Elana!” Caprio screams, “Fuck, Fuck, Fuck! nothing is going well, we might have to retreat” Caprio yells to himself. 

Caprio continues to run up the stairs killing Damon's along the way, “Aren’t we going to help Elana?” Ash asks, “No! We must continue the mission” Caprio yells. 

Amber continues to shoot the Damon’s, somehow Damon’s starts submerging from the floor. The Damon’s grab Amber’s leg. “Help! Help! Damon’s are coming from the ground” Amber yells. 

Another Damon grabs Amber’s left ankle and starts clenching its claws in her ankle cutting her. “Ahhh, someone help” Amber yells. Leon is frightened shaking all throughout his body, Leon thinks back to a time. “Sorry Leon, but I have to go to the city, I promise I’ll be back, I’ll even get you a souvenir-heh, good seeing you Leon, and remember when you’re sad you have to smile” an unknown man says while creating a fake smile with his fingers.

“Yeah, that’s right I have to keep on smiling” Leon thinks to himself.

Leon runs towards Amber without thinking but a Damon leaps in from the roof and impales Leon in the stomach as he smiles falling to the floor. “Leon! Shit all that’s left is me and Brandon” Kurohe thinks to himself, Brandon runs on the edges, the Damon’s runs after him Brandon runs in a circle making the Damon’s all jumbled up together, Brandon takes off his hoodie mask and just as he is about to use his Umbra Core Ophelia comes in flying using her wings and kicks Brandon, making him crash in the wall. 

“How dare you try and kill my children! You disgrace of a human” Ophelia yells in a demonic voice. 

Brandon tries to crawl away, He coughs up blood. Before Brandon collapses, he yells “Death Continuum”.

Brandon activates his Umbra Core on Ophelia, suddenly Ophelia looks around her as she’s seeing hundreds of swords all surrounding her as Brandon stands in the back, “It’s just an illusion!” Ophelia thinks to herself. The swords come spearing toward Ophelia, she uses her wings to protect herself just as they were about to hit her. Kurohe runs towards Ophelia, stabbing her in the abdomen, as she was distracted by Brandon’s illusion. 

“You fucker!” Ophelia yells in a demonic voice, Kurohe stands there as Ophelia is coming towards him, “Ah fuck” Ophelia slams Kurohe causing him to move all the way to the other side crashing on the wall. 

“Ash, run faster, shit there’s no one left” Caprio yells. 

As Ash and Caprio almost reach the top of the stairs Lucifer steps off his throne and steps on the last step of the stair. “You dare try and kill me, Caprio-” Lucifer says in a demonic voice, “The last time you tried to do that you almost died, you lost everything remember” Lucifer says. “Now, who you were fighting then wasn’t even the real me, you think I’m Lucifer-heh, you retard” Lucifer says. 

“You see the thing is all this time you thought you almost defeated me, but the truth is-” Lucifer says. Lucifer suddenly starts changing his arms are transforming his head is turning red. Lucifer changes into his real true form, “I am Wrumoth, the Sentinel of the Hegragoth region” Wrumoth says. 

Caprio completely shocked can barely move his hand. Caprio runs towards Wrumoth trying to attack, and as he is about to strike Wrumoth takes his fire whip, and slashes it on Caprio. 

But suddenly something stops it, Ash is there with his sword. “Caprio, get out of here take everyone with you somehow, get on the horses and ride the fuck out of here, you understand” Ash says. “R-... Right” Caprio says, Ash puts his sword in a low stance, and Jumps towards Wrumoth. 

Ash dodges his first whip attack Ash spins with his sword at such a speed that sparks are flying, Ash hits Wrumoth making a deep cut on his left arm. Wrumoth turns towards Ash, Ash moves to the left in the air then suddenly moves downwards with the speed of a bullet, Ash slices both the lower tendons of Wrumoth suddenly Ash spins with his sword in front of Wrumoth’s face. 

Wrumoth with a shocked look on his eye’s that someone is managing to hurt him. Ash takes out his dagger and bends his back as he jumped over Wrumoth’s head, Ash stabs both of Wrumoth’s eyes, one with his dagger and the other with his sword. 

Wrumoth shakes his head like crazy trying to get Ash off his head, “I mustn't be left behind” Ash thinks to himself. Ash takes his sword and dagger off Wrumoth’s eyes and starts sprinting and Jumping towards the exit. Ophelia fly’s towards Wrumoth, and asks him “What’s wrong Wrumoth? Don’t worry we’ll make more children, and we’ll kill every single one of them if they come again” Ophelia says, “That boy they call “Ash”, he…he is unlike any I’ve ever seen before” Wrumoth says. 

“*aggh* crap can barely breathe, my throats completely dry my lungs are empty” Caprio says. Ash runs out of the fortress all tired, Caprio successfully took everyone outside, and Ash puts everyone on horses, “so Ash did ya’ kill him? Wrumoth, I mean” Caprio asks, “Almost” Ash says. 

Ash hitches all the horses to each other. As Ash leads all the horses away Caprio sees Wrumoth incredibly wounded with cuts and his eyes squashed. “You Ash, you are…Incredible” Caprio thinks to himself, “you did good kid you did good” Caprio says. 

“That fucking General, she set us up, she knew there would be to many, what idiot would only send two squads?” Ash thinks. Caprio gets a message sent to his prism, he opens it and reads “CODE Sentinel”, Caprio is shocked he vomits on the floor, “no, no, no this can’t be happening right now, this has to be a joke, this… there is no coming back from this” Caprio says quietly to himself. 

“Ash reroute, go to the Xethain Headquarters” Caprio says, “the Xethain Headquarters? We have no business there” Ash says, “just get us the fuck there” Caprio says. 

10 hours later, Xethain Headquarters. 

During the horse ride to Xethain, Caprio healed all the wounds everyone has, all captains are given one special medical ability that can only be used once, it allows the user to heal wounds from anyone they desire. Everyone steps off the horse, walks inside, and proceeds to go to the General’s office. 

Caprio slams the door open, “you better tell me what the fuck is going on, or I’m gonna start shooting” Caprio yells. 

There in the office stand the 3 biggest influential people the Umbran Military has ever seen, Xero Waters Captain of Squad Armanda and the General of the Umbran Military, Caprio Moriarty Captain of Squad Kaizen, and Wyatt Harper captain of Squad Nexus. “Come sit down now, Caprio!” The Xero says. 

“You too Squad Petra” the General says, “now this here could possibly mean the end of the world code Sentinel” the Xero says, everyone is panicking, scared of what is about to be said. 

“The Xethains have awoken” the General says, “you know what this means we will now commence the project, Squad Kaizen, Squad Nexus, Squad Armanda, and you Squad Petra” the General says. 

“Welcome to Project Sentinel”.
