Horizon in the distance

Though darkness can't be seen

New uncertain waters

Lapping at my feet

The waves are coming in now

I question what they'll bring

Seeking destinations

So far out at sea

I'll have to cross these oceans

And learn what lies beneath

My foot prints in the sand

Show the paths I can't repeat

I'll have to forge ahead now

Facing all that waits for me
