'Where's Jack and Marcie?', Alice asked Bill.
'Fooling around', Bill answered.
'And Ned?'.
'He's missing', Brenda said.
And they decided to investigate.
***
It was a cold night.
'Ned's gone', Bill said.
'I don't know why', Alice said.
Brenda saw a Monopoly game.
'Hey, look what I found', she said.
'I hate Monopoly', Alice said.
'Not the way I play it. Strip Monopoly'.
'You got to be kidding me', Alice said.
'You take your clothes off, and Bill's the banker'.
'Fine by me', Bill smiled.
'I'll get the beers', Alice said.
***
Steve was at the Crystal Lake Diner.
He was sure that the business was over. It was a long day in town. He was afraid the campers were getting mad with him, or concerned; or worse. 'More apple pie, and ice cream, Steve?', Sandy, the 62 year old waitress, asked him. 'No, Sandy. The campers are wondering why I'm not at the camp', he stated, '...How much do I owe you?'. 'Two and a quarter', Sandy said. He took out three dollar bills. 'Keep the change', Steve said. 'The weather is terrible', Sandy said. 'I'll be alright, Sandy. Good night!'.
'Good night, Steve. Be safe!', Sandy said.
'I will, Sandy. Be well'.
'I will', the red haired woman said.
And he grabbed his yellow rain slicker, and opened the Diner door, then he headed towards the green colored Jeep. Steve was glad to go to the camp.
***
'I got to leave. Good night, Bill, Alice. I wish Steve was here'.
'Yeah, we're worried too', Alice said.
And Brenda grabbed her rain slicker, and opened the door, then she headed to cabin 2.
***
Bill grabbed the flashlight.
'Can I go too?', Alice asked him.
'Sure', Bill answered.
They went from cabin to cabin.
There was an axe on the bunk.
It was covered in blood.
'What's going on?', asked Alice.
'I know, but something's not right', Bill answered.
He walked away, and investigated the pantry door.
***
Brenda was brushing her teeth.
She saw someone was near the curtain.
'Hello. Is there anyone there?'.
Silence.
She headed to cabin 6, and flicked on the bright light. The romance book she was reading was on the bed; the fury of the storm was bad. Suddenly she heard a boy's cries: 'Help me! Help me!'. Brenda wore her favorite nightgown. She opened the cabin door. She frowned, as the woods were cold. Brenda saw the archery lights were on.
'If this is a joke', Brenda said.
The arrows were fired, and she was dead.
***
Bill was fired by the arrows.
His body was shoved on the door.
He was dead, like the others.
The horror of Friday the 13th was almost over.
