I zoomed to what I presumed was the girl's dorm, and quickly climbed onto the top bunks of one of the many bunk beds, bouncing a little as I sat down. I giggled and looked at Brooklynn, Sammy, and Yasmina who had just arrived after trying to find the room we would share I guess I presumed right! "Claimed this bunk!" I exclaimed, jumping down from the top bunk. Sammy, Brooklynn, and Yasmina glanced at each other then rushed to get the last top bunk. Of course, Yasmina got it, Sammy sliding under the bunk in defeat. Brooklynn walked over to me and sat down on the bottom bunk, shaking her head as she stared at her phone.

I should ask her to apologise to Yasmina now. "Hey, Brooklynn?" She looked up at me and replied, "What's up Kiara?" "Um, so you know when you were recording earlier?" Her bright features seemed to darken slightly and a look of confusion found its way to her face. "Yeah, what about it?" "Well, it's just that, Yasmina seemed really uncomfortable when you recorded her, but you didn't stop recording, so... I think you should apologise to her." Brooklynn sighed and dropped her phone, letting herself fall back onto her bed. Sammy and Yaz who were on the other side of the room, were doing their own things and didn't notice.

"I was trying to make a video for my fans and Yasmina is kind of a big deal, so having her on my video would get me more views," Brooklynn explained, sitting back up. I stared at her incredulously. She just did that, for the views!? "Brooklynn, I know you are famous and everything, but you can't just film someone without their consent like that, especially if they make it clear they are uncomfortable! So, I think you should apologise to Yaz..." I said, crossing my arms as I scowled. I came here to make friends and it has all come to this. Great. Thanks, Brooklynn for doing what you did...

Brooklynn glared at me, her expression filled with annoyance, before she glanced at Yaz, who was sketching something on her drawing pad, guilt finding its way to her face. She got up from the bunk and walked past me, making her way to Yasmina. She stopped and waited for Yaz to look up from her sketch pad before she said, "I'm sorry about recording you earlier when you didn't want me to..." Yaz stared at her silently for a few moments, taking in what Brooklynn had said before a small smile spread through her lips. "It's, fine," Yaz replied, closing her sketch pad. I smiled at Brooklynn, glad she apologised.

Sammy ran towards them, having heard everything, and pulled them into a huge hug. "And now, you guys are best friends!" She exclaimed cheerfully. She noticed I was still by Brooklynn and me's bunk and beckoned for me to join in on the hug. Brooklynn and Yaz's eyes had widened and they were staring at Sammy with unreadable expressions, so I didn't want to start hugging them. Even so, I walked up to them and hugged Sammy, making sure I didn't come into contact with Brooklynn or Yasmina. We stayed in that position for a few seconds before Sammy pulled away, clapping her hands and beaming. She was very, eccentric!

"I guess we should unpack our things now?" I suggested, the others nodding agreeably. We all went to our beds and unzipped our bags, taking out our clothes and putting them in the dressers that were placed just beside us. When we finished unpacking our things, I took out my headphones and just as I had thought earlier, it had disconnected from my phone. I could only play music from the radio which wasn't ideal, or lofi. Of course, I clicked on the button so it played lofi music. Sighing in pleasure at the sweet sound, I climbed back onto my bed and lay there with my eyes closed.

This was so relaxing... I suddenly felt something shaking the bed and my eyes shot open. I hurriedly sat up and took off my headphones, searching the room to see who had shaken the bed. I saw Sammy, Brooklynn and Yaz but they weren't near the bunk. I glanced down and saw my brother. That's when I raised the others were staring at Kenji with annoyed looks. "Kenji? Why are you in here? I'm pretty sure you aren't allowed," I frowned, climbing down the bed. "Dave and Roxie told me to tell all of you that we are going so, hurry up! Everyone is waiting for all of you!" he exclaimed, shaking his head.

I raised my brow and Brooklynn came to stand beside me. "Ok, but you didn't have to barge in here! We could have been doing something!" She cried out, crossing her arms. "Chill, I'm leaving, but you guys should too," Kenji raised his arms up defensively then walked out the room, leaving the door wide open. "Sorry about him," I sighed, turning to the others. "Shall we go then?" They nodded and I smiled awkwardly before all of us walked out to the lounge sort of area. When we got to the other campers, Roxie frowned at us. "Well, you all took your precious time," She scolded, shaking her head.

Dave rested his arm on her shoulder, her expression visibly softening and she glanced at Dave, smiling. Roxie then turned back to the rest of us and gestured for us to follow. "Let's go, Dave and I have a surprise for you!" We all nodded and followed Dave and Roxie as they led us to the elevator and out of the camp to the jeep.

The view was spectacular. The sun was slowly setting giving the sky a pinky-orangish tone and the dinosaurs were below us, moving slowly and calmy. I could hear everyone gasping in delight as they too watched the dinosaurs but I felt as though they were just surprised by how many dinos Doctor Wu had recreated.

I knew there were a lot but this was amazing! Absolutely wondrous! "There's a Brachiosaurus! Parasaurolophus. Stegosaurus. Ankylosaurus!" Darius exclaimed excitedly, pointing out each of the dinosaurs. I was shocked, I hadn't met anyone who knew dinosaurs so well! Even I can't remember the dinos names sometimes and I come here every Summer! "Wow, you really do know your stuff, Darius!" I said, flashing a smile. He returned it and he went back to further admire the dinosaurs. "Hey, check out the... brontosaurus?" Kenji pointed at a brachiosaurus while nudging Brooklyn. He was trying to flirt and impress her- Typical Kenji Move.

Darius spoke up, "They don't have those here. Common mistake." Kenji whipped his around and sent Darius a sharp glare, annoyed at the interruption. I looked back at the herd of dinosaurs then noticed something I hadn't seen before. "Are those sinoceratops? When did you get those!?" I excitedly exclaimed, looking towards Dave and Roxie. "They are cooking up all kinds of new dinos in that lab," Dave replied, walking forward. "Whoa! Where are they herding them to?" Sammy asked, pointing towards all the dinos. "They're herding them back to their night-time enclosures" Roxie smiled, going over to the ziplines, closely followed by Dave.

"Enough banter. It's Zipline party time" Dave said, bringing Ben forward and strapping him into one of the seats. "Me? Maybe Kiara should go first! Or... Darius? Or anyone! I really don't-" Ben tried to get off the seat but he was pushed by Dave and zoomed down the zipline, screaming in fear and horror as he came close to one of the brachiosaurs. Yasmina strapped herself into the zip line next, followed by Sammy, Brooklynn, Kenji, and Darius, leaving only Dave, Roxie, and I. "Could you make me go really fast? Please?" I asked Roxie, beaming as I watched the others zooming on the zipline, back to camp.

"Sure," Roxie grinned, strapping me into the seat and pulling me back for more momentum. She used her strength to push me forward, making me speed across the zipline. I giggled and screamed a little myself as I was so high above the ground but, as I passed a Brachiosaurus, it looked towards me and moved its head close enough for me to stroke. It was magical! I am so glad I came to Camp Cretaceous!
