"Brooklynn! Who hasn't had your phone?" Yasmina questioned, rolling her eyes in annoyance. Ben stared at a picture on his lap and mumbled guiltily, "I needed to check the weather last night..." "Dr Sattler posted a new column on the microfossils yesterday" Darius gave Brooklynn an anxious smile as I stared at him, shocked. Did he really take it without permission? Darius? The same one who was obsessing over a book with me? "It was too good to miss yesterday's selfie opp, but I haven't used it since then, I swear!" Kenji leaned back against the chair he was in as he confessed. Brooklynn shot him a vicious glare and then looked at Sammy who was still really nervous. 

"I... I haven't seen it either" Brooklynn scoffed at her, obviously not believing a word she just said. "Really?" She asked, her fury heard obviously in her voice. "Look, it's ok! you don't have to argue!" I exclaimed, trying to get them to stop arguing. "Kiara is right, besides, we're not kayaking till later so we'll have plenty of time to look for the phone" He reasoned, trying to calm everyone down. He smiled warmly at me as he said this, although Brooklynn wasn't having it. "Oh, I think I know exactly where to look. I also think that whoever took the phone may be trying to hide the things that are on it. What do you think... Sammy?" 

She sauntered over to Sammy furiously. Yasmina got up swiftly and pushed her, "What is your deal? Sammy said she didn't touch it! Ever think you might have just lost the stupid thing!?" Yasmina was shouting now, giving Brooklynn an icy stare. "Hmm. Well then, let's check her gabs and test that theory out." Brooklynn hissed, trying to go past Yasmina and reach Sammy's bags. "You do not get to go through anyone's stuff!" Yasmina retorted, putting out her hand and pushing Brooklynn back. Sammy got up and walked towards me, glancing with a frown as she did so, before looking back at Yasmina and Brooklynn who were still arguing.

"Look! I don't care how famous you think you are! She didn't steal your phone! You were just being stupid enough to lose it and blame it on her. it was obvious you didn't like her in the first place!" Yasmina yelled, crossing her arms. Brooklynn covered her mouth in outrage and huffed angrily. "Don't try and blame me! Besides Sammy isn't even who you think you are!" She replied, putting her face close to Yasmina's and continuing to glare. What does Brooklynn even mean? What has Sammy done? "Brooklynn, guys. C'mon! We are at camp, we should try to make friends and have fun together!" I exclaimed.

"Exactly! We can't be this upset over phones! Let's make the most of this incredible opportunity! This is Jurassic World, its-" A loud roar coming from outside echoed through the room, cutting Darius off. "What... was.. that?" I asked quietly, frowning. "It was probably just a Trex, nothing serious" Kenji smugly replied, sauntering over. Darius shook my head and sent him a look, "Nuh-uh. Trex doesn't roar anything like that. It's a kind of predator but... I don't know what" I told him, earning himself a glare from Kenji. Darius shrugged his shoulders innocently. "So... what kind of dinosaur would that be then?... Friend-ish, or foe-ish!?" Ben whimpered, hiding behind Kenji and holding onto his arm.

Kenji, with an annoyed expression, tried to shake him off but he couldn't as Ben's grip was so strong. We all ran over to the balcony and peered over the edge but all the trees were in the way. "Where's it coming from?" Sammy asked, tucking her black hair behind her ear. She was staring out with an anxious look. "I can't see anything, the trees are blocking everything" Yasmina sighed, moving away from the edge of the balcony. "Hey, they might be moving a dino to a new enclosure. We could see that from the observation tower!" Darius exclaimed. I smiled at his great idea, even though we should all stay here in the treehouse. 

Sammy gasped loudly, "Wow, that's a great idea, Darius! What are we waiting for?" She smiled enthusiastically and grabbed Darius's arm, excitedly pulling him towards the elevator while he yelped in surprise. I followed after them and went to stand beside Darius in the elevator while Sammy looked at us with a seemingly forced smile. "Hey! We are not done talking about this yet!" Brooklynn exclaimed angrily, running after us. Yasmina ran over to us and stood beside Sammy, towering over Brooklynn with a glare. Kenji sprinted towards us and leaped up the sofa ben was sitting on. 

He was drawing an ankylosaurus being hugged by himself, adorable! "But, guys! It's indoor arts and crafts day. Shouldn't we wait for Dave and Roxie?" Ben called out to us, looking worried. Kenji rolled his eyes, "If you wanna stay here and draw you and your dino crush, go for it! I'm gonna go see me a Trex or a girl fight. Either way, I win! Kaching!" I rolled my eyes at Kenji as he entered the elevator, giving him a look. "Fine, go on! I'll stay where we're supposed to stay! Right, where we are supposed to be! Ben retorted, frowning. He then looked around at the empty room, it was eerily quiet now. 

He stopped and looked at the dino statue's sharp teeth before trying to pack everything he had away and come with us. Ben rushed to go beside Kenji, casting him a look that said, 'Don't say a word' The elevator started to move slowly down and we all looked at each other, a little cramped. Brooklynn whispered icily to Sammy, "Give me my phone!" and Yasmina turned to face her with a glare. "Brooklynn, I already told you! Sammy never stole your phone! You just lost it so stop blaming her!" Kenji watched the two of them arguing, trying to hype them up while Darius, Ben, and I silently watched.
