Two days passed and I am finally back home, but Noah is not with me. I decided to leave Noah in Theodore's care, but of course, I am not naive enough to just believe what he said. I planted a spy in their palace who'd report to me weekly. I wonder what Noah wrote for Chloe? And what is it so urgent that he wanted me to give her the letter?

Well, I will respect his privacy. I miss Iori, I had to cancel our date to get Noah back.

Chloe POV.

"I'm the prettiest, I'm the very treasure of Evermoon." I tell myself as I do my daily exercises. If I slack off I will gain weight and my skin will turn bad. As I was jogging I spotted James and approached him. "Hey stupid, did you get Noah?"

"No, turned out the stupid couple are smitten with one another but haven't confessed yet." James complained about how waste of time the trip was.

"Ahahahaha! Why do you think I let the honorary knight take him? I knew those two were in love with one another."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I'll be wasting my precious breath if I tell you not to go."

"Wait, how did you know they were into each other?"

"Unlike you, I have eyes and ears within this castle, and I'm pretty observant. I knew Noah liked that knight, but I wasn't sure if the knight liked him back, it took me one look to see how much that knight is madly in love with our brother."

"Wait... Wait--"

"You have more to say...? Jog with me. I will be late for my next activity." I continued jogging and James joined me.

"How did you know Noah liked Theodore?"

"Noah liked him from the very beginning, he'd wait for his letters which never arrived. What a heartbreaker, he never bothered to write to Noah and our poor brother was heartbroken when he realized Theodore broke his promise."

"What?! And you let that bastard take him that easily? Oh, I'm so glad I left a spy there!"

"Dear brother, you coddle Noah too much, the key to vanity is pain. Noah is too protected, he needs to be hurt, he must shatter so his true self emerges... Just like mine." That's right, I will never let anyone ever make fun of me. I will never show any weakness and I will stand tall and proud!

"... Well, Noah wanted me to give you this." I stopped and so does James, he handed me a letter and I check the handwriting, it is indeed Noah's. He has beautiful handwriting. "He said it's urgent."

"Alright, I will check it as soon as possible."

"Okay... See ya!" We parted ways. I put the letter safely inside my bag and continued my daily exercises.

After a long tiring day, I apply a face mask and took out Noah's letter, and started reading it.

"Dear sister, how are you faring? I hope you're doing well. You are the most beautiful woman in our nation" Awww Noah knows how to flatter a woman. "I am doing better than I expected with Theodore, he treats me very gently and does not ask me for any favors or money. He says I'm good enough the way I am, strange right? Remember when I told you that he never wrote me? Guess what? He said he sent plenty, he was angry that I never replied to any of them." Oh, that explains his bad temperament last time I saw him. "Dear sister, can you please help me find those letters? I do not think Theo is lying about sending the letters to me. Sincerely, your brother Noah Evermoon."

Once I finished reading his letter I fold it back and put it inside my precious chest. Noah's letters are the cutest, I keep every one of them from when he first learned how to hold a pen. "Sara."

"Yes, your highness." Sara, my bodyguard/informant showed up out of thin air and kneeled respectfully.

"I want you to find me Theodore's letters, according to Noah's letter, the letters I'm seeking had found their way to the castle, but not to Noah. Search them for me and eliminate whoever got in the way of them not getting to him."

"As you wish your highness, what is the name of the sender?"

"Theodore Black."

"Yes ma'am!" And just as she suddenly appeared she disappeared.

Noah POV.

A few days passed since James visited our castle. My days passes idly as I spent them either reading a book, hanging out with May, or going on dates with Theodore. Well, he didn't really say they are dates, but I'd like to think they are.

I just finished the book I'm reading and I'm heading to the living room to meet up with Theodore and May, but I stopped midway when I saw a very beautiful girl with long blonde hair, she has dog-like ears and a tail. A demi-human? She looks familiar...

Her ears and tail moved as though she detected me, she sniffed the air and then faces me. I smiled sheepishly as I'm confronted by her stronger gaze. "H-Hello, can I help you?" She smiled widely then rushed to me and gave me a big hug.

"White hair and purple eyes?! Aaaah! You must be Noah Evermoon! You're so cute!" The energetic girl said as she squeezed me tightly.

"Y-Yesh... Pleash... I can't bweethe!!"

"Oh sorry!" She let me go still smiling. I can tell that her smile is genuine, her tail wags happily as a response to her feelings. "I was really excited to meet you that I accidentally..."

"You're powerful." Her golden eyes twinkled as she showed off her muscles.

"I work out a lot, if I don't, I can't carry my claymore." She lifted up her long, heavy sword up in the air.

"That's very impressive, but um... Who are you?"

"What?! My Theo never told you about me?! I'm Hina! Hina Kamisato!"

"O-Oh you are the beautiful princess that aided him in the war..."

"Yep! That's me!"

"It's nice to meet you princess Kamisato."

"Pfft... Call me Hina, a friend of my Theo is a friend of mine! Oops, you're not friends, but husbands, sorry!" She offered a handshake and I was surprised by her friendliness and straightforwardness that I couldn't process it and 'my Theo' what is that? "What? You don't want to touch a demi-human? Am I "beneath" you?"

"N-No!" I quickly shook her hand. "I'm terribly sorry, I'm just not used to people being nice to me, I was just overwhelmed!"

"'Kay... Any--"

"Hina! You little bitch!" Theodore ran our way and then tackled her to the ground, she fought back by biting his arm and pushing him off.

"You're the fucking bitch!" She shouted and I am astonished by what was happening.

"U-Um... Er... D-Don't fight..."

"Oh, they're not fighting... That's how Hina and Theo show their affection to one another." May who arrived explained. After a few minutes, Hina got on top of Theodore and declared herself the winner.

"Bitch! I won!" She got off him and then offered her hand which he accepted. "My Theo is as strong as ever!" Again with 'my Theo'

"Honey..." Theodore kissed my forehead and hugged me. "Hina, meet my husband Noah Evermoon, Noah this is Hina... I owe her my life, if her troop did not aid us I would have been dead."

"We got acquainted a few minutes ago." Hina said.

"Did you? I'm glad!" Theodore said then we all sat on the couch. The order is Me, Hina, Theodore, and May. The three of them started talking about their history as they chatted happily and I couldn't join them, because I do not share their experience.

"Remember that loud bomb that went off close to us that I went deaf for a whole week?!" Hina said.

"Oh man, don't remind me! We were ambushed and I had to carry my stuff and run as soon as possible!" May said.

"Theo was the coolest though... He was not affected by the ambush and led us to safety." Hina said.

"Honestly I was pretty scared, but I had to toughen up." They kept talking and all I could do is listen, I felt a pang of pain as I am feeling left out.

So this is the princess that everyone said Theo should have married. Honestly, it makes sense if Theo chose her over me... She is beautiful, strong, and they share history. The only thing I share with Theo is this marriage.

I slipped away and they don't notice it. I don't want to be around them. I should be happy that Theodore has friends that whom he shares history with, I should be happy that he is happy, but I don't feel that. I feel sad, I feel angry, I feel resentful... I feel ugly. I want what they have, I want friends that I share my experience with... I want memories with him... I want to make memories with Theo...!

I went to the library hiding between the shelves as I let out my unsuppressed emotions by crying... It was at that moment I realized that I'm in love with Theodore.

Theodore POV.

"Oof... I miss Jude, she was a great soldier." Hina said.

"Me too, the way they took her life away... She was only sixteen, if only she wasn't stubborn and rushed to the battlefield..." May said.

"We will always remember her." I said.

"Yeah... The war took away so many good people like Owen." May said

"Prince Owen was your brother right Noa-- Huh? Where is Noah?" Hina asked. It was at that moment I realized that Noah was gone. "When did he leave? Did he go to the bathroom?"

"I'll go look for him, you guys stay here." I said.

"I can track him down for you, I'm a half-dog after all." Hina said then tapped her nose.

"I'll find him myself, just point me in his direction." She sniffed around and then looked at me.

"He went left."

"Okay, thanks Hina."

"No problem bro." Why did he suddenly leave? Ugh, this is so not like him, I can't figure him out. Whenever Noah feels uncomfortable he'd tell me, but this time he just up and left without saying anything. This is pissing me off so much. I kept looking around, but I couldn't find him in the dining hall, our bedroom, or the garden.

Think Theo, think... If I am Noah and I want to escape, where do I go?

I'm so fucking dumb... He is in the library! I went there and searched around until I heard a faint sobbing. I followed the source and found Noah crying. My heart broke when I saw him in that situation that I held him close. "Oh, honey... What is upsetting you?"

"Theo?! Why are you here?!" Noah quickly wiped his tears away.

"Who hurt you?!"

"O-Oh... It's nothing, I'm just too sensitive."

"Don't say that Noah, share me your worries."

"Uhm... I was just jealous that the three of you guys shared a history, while I just started my life with you... If only... If only I have your letters I would have at least joined in." There was silence and I grew anxious by the seconds, I pulled away to be faced with beet red Theodore. "Theo... S-Say something!"

"Ah sorry, you're just so cute, to think you were jealous of Hina and May."

"Y-You're my husband! O-Obviously I want to be the one who knows you the most!"

"Jesus, stop, stop being so adorable!" My husband crushed me into a tight hug which I respond to by hugging him back.
