"THINK BEFORE YOU COPY OTHERS HARD WORK,"
When the young man heard his shout, he couldn't help but feel grateful, so he turned around and bowed, taking the elder man's words to heart. Following that, he continued his journey and went uphill to the snowy mountain, which was full of nut trees and winter trees.
The area is densely forested, with massive tall trees and snow, but he had no trouble passing through them, as if he was already accustomed to this type of nature, and his fury winter boots are designed for extreme weather.
He went so far that his figure could no longer be seen by anyone, and the only visible figures are tall trees. He turned right, and as he did so, the area became more secluded, before turning to the left road.
After ten steps, he entered a narrow passageway that no one had dared to enter before. He continued walking until he came across a cabin house up ahead with a smoky chimney, indicating that the person inside was cooking.
He walks on, his free hand unraveling the sash that had covered his eyes. The full view of a strict and piercing facial features, that holds steeliness and strong arrogance, then showed out, along with the full view of violet eyes that appear to have tiny crescent stars inside.
But if you look closer, you can see that his white snowy facial complexion has a gentleness to it, especially when you look straight into his eyes, which can mesmerize and take your breath away for a second to anyone who looks at it.
The truth is that he was never blind, and his eyes have no scars; he is simply hiding his eyes and unparalleled beauty from others.
For his mother and grandmother had warned him that his eyes could cost him his life and his beauty could endanger those around him. So, whatever happened, he had to keep it hidden from the public.
He inquires as to its significance, but his mother only tells him that when he reaches the age of twenty, all questions will be answered. He only needs to be patient and prepared at all times.
Since he was three years old, his mother and grandmother had warned him not to let others see his eyes, as well as his birth symbol, which resembled a spider web and a crescent moon on his forehead.
His grandmother, Su, a shaman, taught him how to walk with his eyes closed but still aware of his destination, path, and surroundings from the age of four until he was six.
His grandmother then proceeds to teach him other things after he has mastered such techniques.
From dealing with spirits, nightmares, and taboos, to requesting and offering a blessed offering to the heavens.
Following that, his grandmother proceeded to teach him more of what she had learned over the years of living in this world. She teaches him how to make various potions, such as poison, medicine, cures, and disguises, to help him survive in this mysterious world, while his mother teaches him how to write, read, handle accounts, and archery.
The young man had learned all of it through years of practice and improvement, and he had used two of them today while out on the town. To prevent others from recognizing and seeing the symbol in his forehead, he drank liquid potions that rendered the symbol in his forehead invisible to all eyes for two hours before leaving their home.
The young man walks on, a sweet smile on his face, as he felt a light pain on his forehead, prompting him to touch it with his free hand, indicating that the potion's power has now faded.
The symbol is now visible. He exhaled a sigh of relief and returned his hand to his side before shouting.
"Wang Yu! I've arrived! "
A thud and hurried steps of a person then rang inside, leading straight to the door, which instantly opened, revealing an innocent bright face and relief smile of a six-year-old child.
"Brother Le Fan! " A cheerful and anticipatory voice then rang outside the establishment. The young boy rushes up to him, hugging his waist and tightly embracing him in his arms.
Le Fan couldn't help but be moved by the young child's actions. With a genuine smile on his face, he returned his hug, patted his head, and handed him the paper bag containing the cakes.
"Let's go inside and have some food. Have you finished making the mushroom soup yet? "
The small boy confidently nods twice while maintaining a bright smile.
"En! Wang Yu has already finished preparing it."
Le Fan couldn't help but laugh at the child's cheerful demeanor and caress his head while blissfully smiling.
"That's good; our Wang Yu is a very well-behaved child,"
The child smiled at him with a wide grin and giggled cheerfully as he let go of his brother and carried the paper bag in his arms.
"Hehehe,"
To be continued.
