“So everyone, now is your chance to explore the mansion. To those who can first draw a small map of all the rooms, proving they have visited each at least once, will get a small reward of 50 Dollar.” Mike took another banknote from his wallet, waving it through the room. That was a brilliant idea. Gabriel knew why he kept sticking to the rich kid, even though he could be nasty.
“Oh, and we need a volunteer to stay here in case the pizza arrives. So, I’ll be waiting here and determine the winner as well.” Mike grinned.
That came as a surprise. Gabriel had been sure he wanted to get his chance to go around with some girls. Did he chicken out in the end? Or had he caught up on his intentions and wanted to help him out?
Soon the play had started. Of course, Gabriel wasn’t participating like anyone else. As he knew the house, he would be able to draw the map already, and thus it wouldn’t be interesting at all. He preferred to wait for his time to shine when the first screams appeared.
Sadly, waiting in itself was annoying. As the first screams hadn’t shouted for help after half an hour, he decided to take his stroll around the house. Maybe he just was too far away to hear the girls and boys in need?
He had wandered around for a while as he finally reached one of the furnished rooms. To his surprise, someone had taken the blanket from a grand antique mirror. “I guess someone was too curious in this challenge.”
