He got closer, first just planning to inspect if anyone had damaged it. So far, he couldn’t make out any scratches or bruises. Gabriel noticed there was an inscription on the mirror. “cupiditas se devorat?” He had no idea what that was supposed to mean. Probably some Latin or another long dead language. Not that it kept his focus for a long time. Gabriel and mirrors had a special relationship with each other. Once they encountered, he couldn’t resist staring into them.

“Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the hottest of them all?” He grinned, watching his reflection and posing in front of it. “Yeah, you’re damn right, it’s been me all along.”

Actually, this thing was amazing. Why didn’t he have a mirror that was large enough to show his whole body? The small ones he owned definitely didn’t do his beauty justice. “No wonder, basically everyone is totally in love with you.”

If they admitted it or not. He was sure there wasn’t a single person in school immune to his natural charm. And even if they were, the only explanation for it was surely they didn’t realize the extent of his beauty.

As he continued to the star into the mirror in the light room, the reflection started to change suddenly. It shifted from showing him his normal pretty face to portraying him as the lead singer of a rock band on stage. Gabriel was so stunned by those picture that his mind wasn’t able to process how strange the situation was in itself.
