No mirror reflection should differ from reality. Especially not to such an extent. Yet, the young man only continued to stare into it, enjoying the situation.
Suddenly, it felt so real. Himself directly on the stage, singing into the micro, while all the boys and girls in the hall screamed his name. Life had never been more convenient. He just had to flick, and a dozen of pretty groupies were more than happy to fulfill his every need. It was all he ever wanted. Hell yeah, all he deserved!
“Gabe?” Someone patted a hand on Gabriel’s shoulder, turning him around. “Come on, everyone is waiting. We have been looking for you for an hour. The pizza will get cold, man.” Mike laughed, leading the blonde man away from the mirror, turning his back to the piece of furniture.
For Mike, everything about Gabriel seemed normal. He was used to finding him in front of a mirror, admiring his own reflection.
“Yes, sure. Let’s go leave this room.” Gabriel’s lips moved as he showed a smile to Mike, that raised an eyebrow. “You’re having lots of fun today, aren’t you?”
Mike didn’t realize the reflection of Gabriel staring towards him as he pummeled the mirror, his eyes teared upon in terror. Embraced by the mirror he had treasured more than any human being…
