Vine POV:

Today I was going to Rame's apartment for the first time since we met. I couldn't believe how me and Rame had gotten so close so fast, it felt like we had known each other since we were little kids.

 I was so nervous to actually meet her roommate as well, since Rame talked so much about him. From what I know about Rame's roommate, His name was Blade, and was apparently very nice, tall, and kind. Despite Blade looking like a tough scary 6'11 22 year old. He had been paired with a now 23 year old, when he was 18 and his partner was 19. 

Blade could also be protective about people he cared about or roommates, so I know not to mess with Rame but I wouldn't anyway since Rame is such a nice person, and she's my soulmate so if I mess up with her I'm not getting another one, soulmate that is. 

I had decided to wear an off white shirt brown pants with a belt, and an orange sweater. I decided to wear some black thigh high boots, since it was cold and I wanted to look more stylish.  

I was walking to Rame's apartment block, quickly stopping to The Tea Leaf café to get me some iced coffee and a croissant, then continuing my walk not wanting to spend all my day in The Tea Leaf café reading with my book I brought to take to Rame's flat. The 10 minute walked felt like seconds since I got to see Rame after a week.

When I reached Rame's house welcomed with a hug from 2 people, when Rame started hugging me I felt tall, since she's 5'6 and when Blade started hugging me I felt short. After like 2 minutes they actually let me in and asked if I wanted a tour. 

Anyone crazy would say no, so of course I said yes. Their apartment was spacious and very cozy, it had tons of plants everywhere, even the kitchen. 

Rame showed me her room and we hung out there for a bit then started reading together. I was reading The Book Thief and she was too, since we had decided to start reading it together cause we both had the book. 

We both decided to play Rame's liked songs on Spotify, since I didn't have many. We had sat right next to each other since her bed wasn't that big. After 2 hours we were basically cuddling with my fingers intertwined in her hair and her fingers intertwined in mine.

We were peacefully reading until Blade smacked open the door and started playing I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire by The Ink Spots so loud that people from another building could probably hear it. But I didn't mind, since it was one of my favorite songs, I started singing it. 

I don't want to set the world on fire, I just want to start a flame in your heart

Soon Rame joined in with the singing,

In my heart I have but one desire, and that one is you, no other will do, 

I've lost all ambition for worldly acclaim I just want to be the one you love and with your admission that you'll feel the same, I'll have reached the goal I'm dreaming of 

Believe me-

Sadly all of a sudden Blade stopped the music saying "Worth a shot, in all honesty Vine I didn't expect you to like this song doesn't really seem like you would, but hey now I know what NOT to play to annoy you guys so that's good." Blade then sat down on the floor and we talked about how me and Rame could've been paired as soulmates. "

Are you training to be a doctor? or maybe interested in murder mysteries? wounds? Or serial killers? Or are you a serial killer? Wait if  you were a serial killer I would ask for a new soulmate, or scream if you came near me but are you one?" Rame inquired, I started sweating I thought "how did they know I'm a serial killer, did they find out that I could be the very known serial killer Strangling Vine". but I replied to them with a simple no and asked Rame the same questions. Blade interrupted me 

"Well Rame is a writing a few stories that include a lot of wounds and killing and dealing with wounds, so she's told me about some of them-" "Blade! I was gonna tell Vine that how could you take my spotlight, idiot." With that suddenly Blade's face had been hit with a pillow.

Quickly, we all pillows either in our hands or our sides ready to hit each other. I had been hit the least since Rame was mostly doing this cause she was mad at Blade, I had joined for fun.

Rame's flat seemed to always be filled with noise, no matter what.

I had just left Rame's apartment thinking about the past 2 weeks. Rame was so kind and caring about everyone and everything around her and I felt so grateful to be her friend. Snapping out of my thoughts I heard a scream coming from Rame's apartment so I ran back to her apartment only to open the door hear her stop screaming then look at me and continue screaming in fear
