Dre POV: 

It's 5 minutes to lunch and I'm finishing up the last questions on this surprise math exam, Ms. Delores gave out to us. I'm not sweating because surprisingly I'm actually pretty good at math, but pretty bad in the other subjects. I gave in my test to Ms. Delores without a minute to spare and grabbed my shit and wait at the door once I heard the bell my ass was out the door. I went straight towards the cafeteria and beelined straight to the lunch line,( I know, I know it seems like I'm feening but a nigga was hungry shit). I got my lunch and made it straight to our usual table, with consisted of the gang and some other players from the football theme and basketball team, alongside the cheerleaders. I know what y'all thinking total cliche but that's just how the setup is. As I got to the table I noticed there was one more seat left for me which was across from the person I wanna avoid (Alex). 

I awkwardly sat down at the table, Alex took a glance at me and noticed me avoiding eye contact with him. He glanced at me one more time before turning his attention back to Xavier who he was chatting with before. I was going to say something but Cameron decided to go first " So I Know y'all said you won't go out with me again, but... "No" come on Toby you didn't even let me finish what I was going to say". " Fine finish what you're going to say. "Thank you, like I was saying I Know y'all said you won't go partying with me again but there's this big bash next weekend and I'll really appreciate y'all coming with me. "No" we all laughed at Toby's response. 

Come on now pleaseeee, shit going to be fun, and hey look I promise if you all agree we'd just be there for a few and leave, and after we could just chill at my house and play on my PS5, here look I swear". Cameron then held out his pinky. Ah ok, I'm in. "Anyone else objects at this point, come on ya know wanna say yes it's a good deal". Everyone looked at me and Cameron. I gave them a nod. Finally, after my approval, they all surrendered to Cameron and agreed to go. 

The only reason I'm going is, of course, to help my friends cause Lord knows they become a fucking mess when the alcohol hit their system, but also to get my mind off of the whole Alex situation.
